Hi there! I didnt take a chance. I watched it from the kitchen window. Tried to get a picture, but though I have a great camera with my phone, it couldnt capture that color.
Hope you had a nice warm and dry day! You need a few of those.
And yours is MUCH better than mine. :-)
Bummer your camera wouldn’t capture the colors properly.
I use the little cheapie Canon for sunset shots because it does a bang-up job. The Nikon, not so much. Wish we’d get a nice sunset but we haven’t had the right clouds for it lately.
It was almost too warm and still dry, though that will change this weekend. Rain tomorrow and Sat., then very pleasant temps the next several days.
I think one reason the sunset was so brilliant even without clouds is...well..its Texas! Second, there are massive wildfires southwest of us that have put a lot of smoke and ash into the atmosphere around here. Sad situation.
So happy for you that youre having some pretty days. Have the outside kitties been out again
We've had some clouds here but just not the right kind. There's some color but nothing spectacular. I'm waiting for some more like this one ...
Yes, we've been letting the outside cats go out to play the past few days. It's been quite a while since the bobcat's been seen so we hope it's gone at last. And that it doesn't come back!
Wow! That’s beee-uuu-teee-ful!
We get some really nice sunsets here at times. And a clear shot at them since there are open fields on the west side of the farm. We get some nice sunrises, too, but there’s a hill with trees on the east side.
I rarely ever see a sunrise! LOL! I don’t even want to.
It’s nice you have some open space so you can see the sunset, though. Twilight is my favorite time of the day, and a blazing sunset just puts the topping on the cake!
Well?
Well?
I see them before I go to bed except during the dead of winter. Sunrise is usually an hour after I go to bed then.
There are trees in the back yard but I can see enough of the sky through the kitchen window to know if the sky’s going to be fabulous or not in the evening. Then it’s grab the camera and out the door.
Well. LOL!
WOOHOO, it’s yours!
No rain...and even a few patches of blue sky.
Today was really busy, but more calm.
The boss is having a meeting with us in the morning...maybe once a week to see how we are doing. *sigh*
Yay! I’m just glad I didn’t forget this time! LOL!
Hey, blue sky is nice. Unless you really need rain and I don’t think y’all have reached that point yet. Much nicer to drive in dry weather, that’s for sure.
Glad your day was a bit calmer for a change. Sounded like the first three were NO FUN at all.
Oh boy! A meeting in the morning with the boss. You’re just thrilled about that, aren’t ya? :-)
I was busy checking in on the birds and watching Milda feed the babies, and not paying any attention to the 50. LOL
I was watching that too. They just get cuter every day and she’s doing an excellent job! And they aren’t really vicious toward one another as far as I can see.
One of the little ospreys in Savannah died because the older one was so horrible the poor thing never got any food. I knew it was going to happen because he wasn’t growing. So sad.
I’m so thrilled I feel asleep. LOL!
I need to go find ice cream.
Yes, Milda’s been doing a great job making sure both eaglets get food. The younger one got a little feisty and pecked at the older one when it got two or three bites in a row. LOL! But I haven’t seen the vicious bonking with these eaglets that we see with bald eagles.
I haven’t checked in on the ospreys the past few days. So sad to hear one of the babies died.
It’s going to happen at the Kocser nest soon. The first itty bitty stork hatched today and there are 5 more to go. Bad odds for at least the last two.
LOL!! Too funny.
Ice cream makes everything better!
