Should we duck for cover?
Ospreys just don’t seem to be as focused on their young as the eagles are. They actually make me nervous to watch them. Very fidgety. But that’s just me.
I noticed that the Eagles in Norway have one hatchling and one egg. Can hardly see anything because of the way that nest is built. I loved watching Solo last year, so maybe when they get bigger..well, and hatched, of course. LOL!
Guess what happened while I was napping???
The street is all wet, and there is even a puddle. But under the cars it is dry.
I noticed that about ospreys several years ago and it’s one reason I don’t watch them all that much. The first nest I ever watched was one at Wilmington, NC.
I haven’t paid much attention at all to the Norway nest because the view is so terrible. Can’t see anything. Much prefer to watch Raimis and Milda, and Osis and Cilla (the other Latvian eagles) because the view is much better.
But happy to hear there’s a new eaglet in Norway. Now to hpe the other egg hatches. The more, the merrier!
Well, like you said, every little bit helps! I just hope our area where we’ve had huge wildfires got some rain to help put the thing out!

Just looked at the radar and you might get another sprinkle or two tonight. The bulk of the rain is NW of you though.
Can’t have enough bobbleheads to watch! I watched Osis and Cilla’s nest earlier, and the morning sun tipped their little heads with gold. Looked like crowns or halos. :)

With all the eggs my storks laid this year, there’ll be enough ... MORE than enough. LOL!
The sun hits that nest just right when it rises and looks so pretty hitting the babies’ down tips. Cilla always seems to leave the nest to hunt as soon as the sun rises above the horizon and the babies sit up to enjoy the glow.
Oh no....praying for rain for those wildfires!!!
I’m going to go hide under the bed now. Tell Mr. B to let us know when the hurricane passes. ;)
Thank you. I haven’t heard an update today, so hope they’ve gotten a handle on it. I know about 400 homes were evacuated yesterday. :( It’s near a resort area in our mountains west of us. Yep...mountains. LOL!
