LongWayHome reminded me that they were beavering away to get individual electors to be "faithless" and cast their votes for HRC instead of DJT. I had completely forgotten about their nefarious efforts to do that. See

Thanks. LongWayHome pointed that out, too. The old “faithless elector” gambit. One of their 10 or 20 dirty, filthy, slimy, unlawful tricks.

I have no link. It po'd me to no end when the question rose about Comey's integrity. McCarthy is not the only person guilty of assuming the best of someone because they know them. Rush has done so.
McCarthy was harrumphing about how he's known Comey forever, that he was a paragon of virtue and integrity, etc etc...and it obviously wasn't the case.
I remember that every time I see a McCarthy article about the current dumpster fire. I think of Comey as McCarthy's 'lil buddy Jim.
