A Virginia woman was arrested at Richmond International Airport after Transportation Security Administration officers found a loaded hot pink handgun in her carry-on luggage.
TSA alerted airport police, who responded and arrested the woman, WTOP reported.
The hot pink 9 mm gun was confiscated, along with eight pink-tipped bullets that were loaded at the time. One was reportedly in the chamber.

Who doesn’t know you can’t have a loaded gun in a carry-on?
I think another downfall of the colored gun is they may influence a jury if your ever had to use it or have an acidental discharge. A jury might think the gun owner is not serious about guns/gun safety.

To me, the most dangerous thing about the advent of the colored polymer pistols and the pastel finishes on rifles is the chance that some citizen or cop is going to ventilate a kid holding a Nerf blaster, a Supersoaker or one of those blaze orange tipped toys in the now reasonable belief that a real live kill-you-graveyard-dead weapon can look like it was puked up by Bozo the Clown after he binged on Crayolas and fruit juice.
Blued steel and wood. Parkerized for the practical rugged look. Stainless if you are flashy, preferably matte. No gold, gems, sequins, chrome, neon, or colors that would sell well if applied to women’s knickers.
That is what firearms look like in my version of paradise, but if it floats her boat, hey, it’s a free country.

The wife and I were at Special Sports and Supply in Colorado Springs. The Ruger CEO was there, as he seems to often be there, and the wife asked him to make an LCP in pink. He said he had 60,000 blacks ones to sell first. Sure enough, a few months later Ruger made pinks ones and called her to let her know. We love the LCP. Shoots great and tucks away in a pocket or her purse nicely.
Check out the snow camo pattern Thompson Center puts on the venture predator. A friends wife has a 243 rifle in pink camo. What ever gets the girls shooting, I like it. Every time I go on line to look for auto parts I end up on YouTube, I end up watching hot chicks shooting machine guns. Then my wife walks in. It’s uncanny.
That’s a well-coordinated outfit & accessory!
A bright color to find quickly in the depths of whatever type of carry-on baggage she had.
LOTS of people are really DUMB!! I know a guy that forgot a box of .45ACP hollow points in his checked baggage, went through three different international customs checks in Asia, and they were never discovered. Very lucky. Very stupid.

Yeah, I was skimming titles and read “Hot Pink GUM” the first time — thought, “What the... ???”

I didn’t get them quite that cheap, but they were at a good discount, and since they were identical to their Critical Defense, I also picked up a dozen boxes. No complaints from me or my pistols yet.
They feed just like expensive rounds.
