Virtually every single EU member was making money off this deal (not just the Germans).

Both Boeing and Airbus are set to lose a 40-billion dollar deal here. Iran state airlines are in dismal shape and were counting on a new asset situation to reset their travel industry.

Mercedes signed a massive deal with an Iranian company to produce trucks in the fall of last year.

The thing about this...there were tons of jobs and better economic conditions coming to regular working-class Iranians. While peeved at Trump....they also have to be peeved at the Mullahs and the way this whole thing has screwed them over.

Probably better to view as "delay" than "lose." Once the Iran military projection (nuke) and terrorist support ends, business will be booming in Iran.
