Start with Comey, Hillary, Rothstein & Mueller.
Nope..... go right to the blowtorch. Screw ‘em.
IMO, Cheney should stay retired and take another nap.
Works for me. Any nation that thinks waterboarding is torture may be too compassionate to survive.
“....Any nation that thinks waterboarding is torture may be too compassionate to survive.”
If I had to bet, nothing is going away. What needs to be done to protect the American people will get done.
World to Cheney: Crawl back into your cave.
Cheney is correct on this.
Anyone who believes water boarding is torture doesnt understand what it is or how its done. Nor do they have any insight into the psychology behind the process. And it is part of a complex process. I refuse to debate those people. There is no value in listening to histrionics.
We do it do our own soldiers during SEER training.
What we do to our prisoners is Romper Room stuff in the grand scheme of things.
Whether you always agree with him or not, you have to love Cheney.
“I coordinate interrogation policy. Cheney is correct on this.”
I have always felt that bush because he wouldn’t stand up for himself and certainly not for his staff, always put the clamps on Cheney. Since Bush kept his mouth shut for 8 years as obama blamed him for everything under the sun, but as soon as President Trump is elected, now the real Bush shows himself and it sure isn’t pretty.
Can we use bacon scented water for the waterboarding???
I hear ya. I don’t get the adulation for this guy on FR. He was one of the biggest reasons George W. Bush was less popular than a child molester when he left office.
There was nothing tacit about congressional approval of EITs. Nancy Pelosi herself was fully briefed on them in 2002 and approved them with no objections.
Cheney is awesome. We could use more like him.
Let it be “available in the “EIT” tool kit.
Nobody says it has to be used.
Course, does it mean anything if it isn't used ?
We always need to keep the Corbomite Maneuver” at arms reach.
Rush described, in some detail, how waterboarding is performed. Other than psychological I don’t see how it can be considered torture.
The real reason the left is in such a fit about it being torture is because they don’t want us finding out from the terrorist what is going on.
Or this delightful pearl of political wisdom:
Someone with that level of political insight is not beyond redemption.
....except do it with dilute ammonia.
I can attest I have not met a single lawyer of subject matter expert that has read the commentary on Common Article III, on which our national policy is built off of.
It is a farce. The delegation never intended to protect anyone or any group that resembled ISIS, Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, or any other surrogate or similar group.
But don't believe me......read it yourself and interrogate whether or not they would have any protections outside of a long drop and a short rope.
