Someones ratings must be in the dumper.
The despicable corps will ride out low ratings to bash Trump and conservatives.
NBC, MSNBC is Comcast.
ABC, ESPN is Disney.
Kimmel’s ratings ARE in the dumpster.
People have had an “ass-full” of the Pillsbury doughboy, aka Jimmy Kimmel.
Johnny Carson’s old Tonight Show is back on the air and is a far superior program, dated content and all, than this crap on now. I cannot tell where he stands on politics as he makes fun of people on both sides equally - and he’s making fun, not bashing them to score a political agenda.
It is on a network called Antenna TV which is an over the air broadcast station.
He’s in 3rd place (last) among the nightly network “comedy” shows with 1.87 million viewers:
Maybe it’s as GregGutfeld stated, so much slime has been poured on the President by the drive by medi, that the President is inoculated against further vitriol.
Yep.
According to polls Ive seen, it has cost me commercially, he told Oprah Winfrey during an interview for her O Magazine in February. Thats not ideal, but I wouldnt change anything I said.
"Not ideal" isn't what you tell the advertisers. The problem with the incessant and ubiquitous Trump-bashing is also that it's "not original" and so strident that it's "not funny" as well. When your entire shtick is "Trump is a Nazi. Yuk yuk," you're not going to sell a whole lot of soap. Sorry, Jimmy, but you're in the soap-selling business, and the sooner you realize that the better off you'll be.
Carson - yes, he is in fact the gold standard of the entire genre and earned it - had Reagan on several times, who turned out to be a pretty witty guy himself. Can anyone imagine Trump on Kimmel? And that isn't Trump's fault, he's very comfortable on television, it's Kimmel's for not being professional. That's what killed Letterman in the end. Not. Professional.
.
Kimmel’s numbers have been falling for a year.
