Florida judge rules ballots were illegally destroyed in Wasserman Schultz race

**SNIP**

Circuit Judge Raag Singhal decided that the records were wrongly destroyed because the laws require elections offices to keep the ballots in federal elections for 22 months. Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes destroyed the ballots just after 12 months, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

The judge also noted that because the ballots were subject to a lawsuit, only a court order should have allowed their destruction.

Snipes “has not presented any evidence refuting that the public records sought were destroyed while this case was pending before this court,” Singhal said.

I obviously don’t mean you, but I think it’s clear at this point that society is inundated with those who can and do rationalize any behavior or acts that benefit them and/or advance their philosophy or agenda.

I remember a woman being interviewed during one of the many scandals of the Clinton presidency. She said, proudly, ‘he’s too smart for them to catch him’. That encapsulates it all. It isn’t about what’s right or wrong. It’s just about what you like and can get away with. You can’t police all of society. People either have core values, or they don’t. I don’t think we’ve done a very good job passing them on (again, I mean the collective ‘we’, not you or those others in our society who do hold themselves to a higher standard).

Now that a judge has determined that Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s ballots were wrongly destroyed in the last election, all her opponent in this year’s election will have to do to win is ask voters, ‘’Do you want to keep sending a criminal to Congress?’’

Maybe they do. Maybe Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s constituents are as bad as she is. We’ll see.

IOW, the Democrats involved violated various federal and state laws about ballots and elections, and they belong in prison. Thanks Libloather.

Brenda Scott has been in charge of daily operations at that department for 20(?) years. As the top cop she is responsible for knowing the law and ensuring that her minions enforce the law.

She is a complete and total tool fer the local government, and deserves jail.

“It isn’t about what’s right or wrong. It’s just about what you like and can get away with.”

There is indeed far too much of that. I think it’s important to hold ourselves to traditional Judeo/Christian morality.
