I was watching some news program at 2:00 this morning where they were discussing the fact that US births have been drastically down.
They then talked about why that might be, and named a couple of reasons such as women wanting to have a career. Then they blamed it on the cost of raising one child (something like $250,000).
They never once mentioned abortion, but they did manage to tie in a quick sentence about SS funding running out by 2035.
