It will end when the "immune system" kicks in. That means widespread employment of armed guards in schools along with some visible account of school shooters put down by those guards.
There have already been several such incidents, but they are getting almost zero coverage from the news media as they go against the narrative of the political elites.

This started 50 to 60 years ago with the break down of the nuclear family, with kids being left in day care while both parents went off to pursue careers and wealth, with the normalization of the single parent home and absent fathers, the normalization of drugs, the normalization of promiscuity, the normalization of abnormal sexual behaviors, feminism, the "me, me" generations, the welfare expectation, ...
