The 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500- the greatest race in the world!!! Hometown and VP Pence family favorite Ed Carpenter sits on pole, the only driver to turn a lap in excess of 230MPH during qualifying. Marco Andretti has been strong the entire month of May but slipped in qualifying. Final race in the career of Danica Patrick, which will be covered annoyingly today. Gentlemen- Start Your Engines!!
Helio Castroneves and Scott Dixon for the win
I’m watching for the first time in years.
Ed Carpenter (who always crashes) or Ryan Hunter Rey or Joseph Newgarden- American drivers!!
Bold prediction: Danica will crash and blame it on the guy she ran into.
Final broadcast for ABC who has broadcast the 500 every year since 1967....Indy car moves to NBC fulltime next year
Has she ever won a race? Same with many others actually, seems like few every really win.
Eh, just endless circles.

From Wikipedia: She is the most successful woman in the history of American open-wheel racingher victory in the 2008 Indy Japan 300 is the only win by a woman in an IndyCar Series race.
Scheduled to start at 12:20 eastern. Not hoping for a wreck, but if theres going to be one, I want to see it. Starts are notorious for wrecks, are they not?
I’ve heard a couple of interviews with Danica in the last few of days and that’s enough. Get over yourself. You were never a good driver.
I was at this race in 2001 when this wreck happened. We were convinced someone had been killed. Miraculously, no one was hurt.

This is true, so I will adjust my statement...
Eh, it's just fast circles.
