Police are seeking drive-by shooters who sprayed a house in Cheetham Hill, an area of Manchester with an entrenched criminal culture and the site of several anti-terror raids.
Two-men on a moped-style motorbike opened fire on a terraced house on Galsworthy Avenue around 12.40 a.m. on Friday morning in what is believed to be a targeted attack, the Manchester Evening News reports.
Its still early in our investigation, and we are working to establish the full circumstances of the incident, but it appears this was a targeted attack, commented Detective Chief Inspector Richard Ennis.
While we carry out enquiries, patrols have been increased in the area, and Id ask anyone with concerns to speak to these officers directly.
You can help us find the people responsible for this by sharing any information, no matter how small, if you saw something suspicious in the early hours of this morning.
The attack was carried out as local Muslims were leaving a busy Ramadan service at a nearby mosque, which may have aided the gunmens escape.

Obviously this is “fake news” since we all know there are no guns allowed in Britain.
The problem with banning is that there is a black market for anyone from career criminals to people people who just will subvert the law to have their way.
Similar to parachuting a lion into a feed lot.
As usual, the Brit police are “investigating.” They’ll figure it out about 50 years after everyone involved is dead.
Cheetham Hill is all pakistani muslims. Of course those nice folks would never get a gun even if they could. Nah they are too busy putting English girls into sex slavery rings whilst the media ignores all of it.
Multi-cultural Manchester. That’s some industrial strength turd polish right there.
“...too busy putting English girls into sex slavery rings”......
Ever consider they might be trying to eliminate the competition who are trying to steal their “slaves”?
On the other hand, perhaps it was just some pissed off boyfriends trying to take revenge for having their girl friends “stolen away”.
I believe those rifles they are carrying are considered “Jamamatics”. A cobbled up bullpup version of the AR-18.
The British police failed to investigate the rape and prostitution of 1400 young English girls for 15 years by Pakistani rape gangs. But somehow these Muslims are getting their hands on guns which are illegal. I wonder how many guns are owned by Muslims in Britain?
Update: Tommy Robinson has been arrested AGAIN because he was outside of a courthouse where Muslim child rapists are being tried. He recorded the outside of the courthouse where the police immediately seized him and put him in the squad car. No freedom of speech in Britain. There has been a press ban in all the newspapers and television and thousands of outraged Britons have filled the streets. They have even censored Alex Jones and others who are covering this national outrage. You can read about this on Infowars.com.
This is truly an outrage. The powerful are covering up their atrocious crimes and throwing an innocent man in jail for exposing them.
Have you heard about the imprisonment of Tommy Robinson again?
If there were a police force of some Gene Hunts and Jack Regans....
Stupid looking bullpup & looks like it’s wearing foam pads to keep the gun from staining the uniform?
Its predecessor the FN L1A1 was called the “mechanical musket” and was not well liked.
IMO those palace guards would look far snazzier carrying WWI era Lee Enfield rifles. More of a match with those period uniforms.
I have a #1 MkIII Enfield & it looks and shoots like a dream. Blue steel & wood with no plastic. 100 years old & going strong (may that someday refer to myself!).
Yep, nothing like a gun free zone.
But....wait.....how can this be?
Britain has strict gun control. This means that guns are unavailable for criminals to use, right?
Thanks rktman.
