Sorry, but that simply is not true. Half the Navy's aircraft are not air worthy and the DDG’s can't go to sea without running into lumbering cargo ships. Over a third of the carriers are down for maintenance. Good news is that the number at sea is up from two years ago. Cruisers are being retired and staffing levels are critical in most classifications. It will take decades to undo )’s impact on the Navy.

Oh baloney. Our current navy is ridiculously powerful compared to the rest of the world for the year 2018, but it would get annihilated by our War II Navy.

You assuming the crews are adequately trained, the ship is adequately maintained and manned, and the weapons stores are full.
I would bet money none of those were true.
