You really don’t know at all if he is conservative or moderate - not at all do you know, but yet you claim you know. Why?

First off, your comprehension skills need drastic work. I didn't say unequivocally that my guess is the gospel. I said: "Most likely a moderate, not a conservative at all." It's called an opinion, and I base my opinion on his parents politics. Sure he might differ with them, but I doubt the difference is all that great. If you believe him to be a conservative, that is your choice, however, I doubt you have much more insight then I do on whether he is a moderate or a conservative.

No more likely a Jeff Flake or Marco Rubio moderate. Do you have any knowledge that he is truly a conservative? Given his parents political makeup I can see him differing, but not to that extreme. I freely admit that I am taking a wild guess, but my wild guesses usually pan out.

I truly don’t understand some of the conservatives here in FR Land. reading who this person admires, listens to, and emulates would indicate some fairly strong conservative credentials. While no one can judge his actual beliefs and the depth of his convictions, still this activism to clean up college campuses should be hailed by every conservative as a turn in the right direction. so what if he fails the “test” at some point in his life. What he is doing right now has merit and to me it is a refreshing change from the usual campus stuff. All is not lost. He will have my support, like Trump who is also not perfect, until he proves he is not worthy.

Interesting... I hope he’ll run for office someday.

Exactly right. I am a lifelong conservative who grew up one mile from Berkeley Wannabe Stanford.

I know it intimately as an outsider who was hated by students (and sometimes teachers) in childhood just for being decent and polite - and for not hating the “right” people.

I had the grades (3.91 GPA at a demanding private school, before the age of grade inflation), the scores (99%ile, SAT & ACT), and the awards (3 Math, 2 Science) to attend Stanford. I did not even apply there.

The last thing I wanted was to spend more time around those effete, elite, communistic, atheistic brats and jerks.

It was pathetically leftist then; it is far worse now. On this, Rush is from Missouri.

If he views Soetoro as honorable, then Mommy won the ideological debate.

If he views his mother and Obama as honorable, then he is at best a naive quasi-conservative.

He can do as he pleases. As someone who grew up in that moral and spiritual vacuum, I will think as I like.

He follows mark Levin who is not a moderate at all. He has some issues with Trump's persona but so do most conservatives.
