Mr. Trump, YOU can do something about your deep state plant A. G., Jeff Sessions. Either take action or quit complaining! He’s your tar baby.

Just step down already, sessions. In two-and-half-years you can go back to doing absolutely nothing in the senate.

Can’t Trump replace him with somebody else?

Legally and Constitutionally the answer is yes.

But in the current political environment it would be difficult.

The democrats and RINOs know that Sessions is protecting Hillary and the wrong-doers in the DOJ and FBI and don't want him removed.

And that is how the Deep Staters want it.

So they have arrogantly decided that the President should not exercise his prerogative.
That he should not go against their wishes, the Constitution be damned.

And they are lurking in the wings, ready to pounce if he does.

If (when) the President did fire Sessions there would be an uproar in the Senate and the House accompanied by all sorts of public preening,
posturing, peacock strutting and threats of impeachment.

Even if it all came to nothing it would disrupt progress on every other issue before congress.

If Sessions was as honorable as he thinks he is he would have tendered his resignation at the same time he decided to recuse himself.

And even now, knowing that he is not doing an acceptable job as Attorney General, he would resign for the good of the nation.

If he was an honorable man.

His ears stick out but he hears nothing.

The fact Trump keeps criticizing and talking about firing Sessions and doesn't is curious.

It does keep his critics occupied on the subject while, perhaps, providing cover.

But that's kabuki speculation.

I'm taking a wait and see position.

What a cluster.

Can’t Trump replace him with somebody else?

Not unless The Turtle plays ball by taking the Senate out of pro-forma sessions to allow a recess appointment.

That is the first admission of an error that I’ve ever heard Trump make.

The whole thing is based on a lie.

Or several lies.

“A traitorous rat bastard that stabbed Trump in the back the very day he was confirmed. Now the rat bastard is going to testify that Trump obstructed justice, what a POS.”

Exactly. That’s why Trump was/is forced to communicate with his DOJ via twitter because of that POS Goober Magoo—Mueller’s little step n fetch it boy.

I’m waiting for them to explain it too. I knew (Sessions) was baddie a long time ago. Your gut instincts ate more than often correct. That goes for Trey Gowdy as well.

“So why not fire Sessions?”

Because the GOP, the party of bush, is compromised of rinos and neverTrumpers still itching to get rid of Trump. The fakestream media would turn a firing of an AG or DAG into a nixion saturday night massacre giving complete cover to the repubikans for impeachment.

Ultimately, Trump is going to have to damn the impeachment torpedoes and fire that rat bastard Jeff Sessions...then Rosenstein and Mueller. He’s not going to be able to wait them out...A possible work around is for Trump to appoint a second special counsel to look into this massive conspiracy.

He could replace him but Mitch McConnell said he would not allow another AG to be confirmed.

So who is really running the country?

Sessions did a grave disservice, and his Russian conversations as the basis for the recusal, were de minimus. Secondly, Russia is not guilty of espionage, or Mueller could not prove it. His indictment sucked. So what has Sessions recused himself from? There is no crime.

He could unrecuse himself, if he thought the Constitution was worth fighting for.
