The punishment didn’t fit the crime in her case.

She was never charged with insider trading.

He is preparing public opinion for a wave of DOJ firings. Perhaps even Mueller himself.

****************

No better time than right after the Horowitz report is released. He should address the nation to fully expose the corrosive political weaponization of federal agencies and immediately start the wave of DOJ firings. He needs to clean house.

The public will support him because they are sick and tired of the corruption.

Wow. My Gal looks like Martha Stewart.

A VERY slim Martha Stewart.

I really like the Blogovich pardon concept ...

A commutation of sentence, not a pardon.

I think he is trolling the demacrat party with this. he wants to get them to complain about the pardons so that he can bring up the pardons that both bill and Obama did when they left office.

Martha Stewart should never have been prosecuted.

Everyboyd thinks Comey convicted Martha Stewart of insider trading. That’s what he wants you to think.

He convicted her of a process crime. She told her stockholders not to worry about the indictment because she wasn’t guilty, so he charged her with obstruction.

Mueller is trying to do the same thing to Trump.

Why the freak would he give this low life crook the time of day?

Why not. As someone else pointed out there appears to be a plan behind all this.

Trump considering pardon for Martha Stewart, commutation for Rod Blagojevich

Any reason other than the fact that Comey or a Comey ally convicted them?

A 2014 pic. I’ve heard her say some really bad things about Trump lately. Still, pardoning her is the right thing to do, considering what others have done and then skated.

That nobody was prosecuted for the 2008 mortgage mess, and she got sent to jail for what is done everyday LEGALLY in Congress?

Yeah. That’s appropriate.

because the reason he went to jail had to do that he was on tape trying to get political advantage for filling Obamas senate seat. it was prosecuted that he was trying to sell the seat but the reality is that there is evidence that Obama was trying to sell it....I believe that pardoning him will get the dems to talk about how corrupt he is not realizing the can of worms they open up on the corruption of Obama.

He’s in prison six years now.

That’s four times the bit your average bootlegger used to do

And no money changed hands

Just saying

Conspiracy...the catch all

Commuting Blagojevich’s sentence is a long term strategic move.

Smart.

The DOJ has gone rogue and is steamrolling over people, locking them up for serious jail time over relatively minor charges.

Stewart was convicted of conspiracy, obstruction of an agency proceeding, and making false statements to federal investigators. She got five months. That's "serious jail time"?

With the Blagovich thing, he may also be preparing all of us for an Obama pardon...which then opens everyone up to Obama to great jeopardy. Obama is the cover for everyone up through Loretta Lynch, Brennan and Clapper. You pardon Obama and you can sic the Hounds of Hell onto everyone up to him...without seeing inner cities burn from riots and rebellion.

To accomplish what?

A commutation of sentence, not a pardon.

Blagojevich is a real piece of.... umm... "work" (and so is his wife), but I could see a commutation of sentence in this case though not a pardon. When the Obama machine made sure Blago got tossed into the slammer in a spectacularly public way, they enjoyed it a bit too much.
