It would create tremendous chaos in La-La Land if the Kardashians and all their weird choices for mates supported President Trump. Another nice addition to that would be Martha Stuart.....that was a political hit job by GWB.

Hillary asked for quite a few political donations which she happily received.

Then move on to the prosecution of Terry McAwful who - using insider info - bailed early on Global Crossing with untold MILLIONS while the rest of us were hung out to dry. McAwful’s INSIDER TRADE made Stewart’s look like small potatoes.

Eventually, Donald's picture will be found in the dictionary as part of the entry for "political genius". What are the Demwits going to do, complain about Blago's having served 7 years for his quite typically Democrat pay to play scheme? how long did election reformer Jesse Jackson Jr serve for his campaign finance fraud and other crimes, 30 months? Thanks DCBryan1.

Good point, and important distinction.

My bad.

Why would President Trump's pardon of Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich be significant?

Because on goal of the Muller fishing expedition was to try to uncover any misconduct or crimes committed by the Trump transition team.

These type of crimes are not just common, they are almost universal in presidential transitions are people within the transition jockey and horse trade for position and power and try to capitalize and profit from their new found positions of power and influence.

As we can tell from the Mueller team's increasing frustration, President Trump ran what may be the most honest, ethical and above board presidential campaign and transition in history .

Given their past experience with Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama’s blatant influence peddling and self dealing , the Clinton and Obama operatives working for Mueller must be stunned and amazed that they can literally no dirt on Team Trump except for attempts at fake, manufactured frame up jobs by the FBI and CIA

How does this tie into Rod Blagojevich?

Lets take a trip down memory lane (or perhaps memory hole lane would more appropriate) back to the Fall of 2008 just after Obama won the 2008 election

When Barak Obama won, his Senate seat was vacant and he was aggressively trying to broker the sale of his vacated senate seat to Jesse Jackson Junior for two million dollars with then Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.

Turns out, then U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald ( charter member of the Mueller /Comey FBI/DOJ Stasi crew) was wire tapping Blagojevich's phone conversations in hopes of prosecuting him for the crime of being elected Illinois Governor while being a Republican.

In an ironic twist of fate, Fitzgerald essentially caught Obama, on tape, engaging in a criminal conspiracy to conspire with Rod Blagojevich to sell his old Senate seat for 2 million to Jesse jr.

Fitzgerald immediately shut the investigation and wire tap down and arrested Governor Rod Blagojevich.

Stunningly, Fitzgerald publicly admitted at the time he shut the investigation down because there was a felony involving President Elect Barak Obama in progress and if he did not put a stop to it, he would have had to indict Barak Obama on felony charges which would have prevented President Elect Obama from assuming office.

This is an example of a real, documented Presidential transition crime ( and probably one of the least significant committed during the Obama transition) committed by Barak Obama that was covered up by the FBI and DOJ and completely suppressed by the media .

Both Governor Rod Blagojevich and Jeese Jackson Jr went to prison for their parts in the scheme but Obama was protected and able to skate free with the help of then FBI Director Robert Mueller

The wire tap tapes of Obama horse trading with Governor Blagojevich reputedly still exist and would now be under the control of none other than President Donald Trump.

Just sayin’

I agree he’s a lowlife and I have little sympathy, but maybe a pardon would get him talking. Maybe he’s another one of those who “know where the bodies are buried”.

He’s served a lot of time. Enough? I don’t know. But since he’s served a lot of time, I’d say it’s worth it for him to talk. Far better than pardoning someone who is trying to weasel out of any jail time.

In addition, 0vomit allowed him to be jailed. That tells you something right there.

The president also said that he was considering commuting the sentence of disgraced former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.

In return for spilling the beans on Obama. . .

“He is preparing public opinion for a wave of DOJ firings. Perhaps even Mueller himself.”

No way is Trump dumb enough to do that! That’s what his enemies have been baiting him to do for over a year - lose his temper like Nixon and start his own Saturday Night Massacre.

That worked out so well for Nixon, when he ordered his AGs to fire the Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox. I’m sure Trump can’t wait to follow that advice. /S

But you’re right, there is a strategy behind these pardons. He is sending the message that he considers those past DOJ witch hunts to be illegitimate - that the “politically weaponized” DOJs of past administrations were abusive.

He understands that delegitimizing past DOJ prosecutions also discredits the current witch hunt against him - which, although it operates out of his own DOJ, is entirely independent of his authority.

Trump must not show even the slightest sign of interference with or obstruction of the investigation, due to conflict of interest. But that does t mean he can’t discredit it by using his pardon to draw public attention to other witch hunts, and other prosecutorial abuses.

"Bean Láidir" which is the gaelic translation for "Strong Woman" was written and choreographed for the Martha Stewart Show. Also known as "Martha", it was first performed by the Trinity Irish Dancers on national television in 2006 on St. Patrick's Day.

If Hillary can do it in spades and get away with it, why not pardon Martha Stewart?

Yep, the cattle futures free $100,000 was criminal and she skated. But if we pardoned everyone who committed similar crimes as Hillary half the people incarcerated would be let go.
