The unemployment rate for black workers hit new record lows in May, the Labor Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday.
Black unemployment fell sharply to 5.9 percent, beating out the 6.6 percent record low that was set a month earlier.
The unemployment rate for Hispanic workers hit a record low in April, at 4.8 percent, but it rose slightly to 4.9 percent in May.
The total unemployment rate for white workers dropped from 3.6 percent to 3.5 percent.
President Trump has cheered the record low unemployment rates seen for black workers on his watch. He and his supporters have pointed to the falling numbers for black workers as proof that Trump is working to better the lives of all Americans, even as Trump's critics continue to say Trump is a racist who should be removed from office.
The total unemployment rate for all workers fell to 3.8 percent, from 3.9 percent in April.

Second, a FReeper said at the start of Trump’s 2016 campaign that his saying he thinks Af.Americans will feel better about themselves when they have a job and freedom to choose what they spend on instead of waiting for govt. money doled out to them,the FReeper said “that’s the last thing they want—a job. They want to relax and let the taxpayers support them.”
He may have been right.

In other news there are now record numbers of blacks that have escaped their proper places on the plantation and infiltrated the free person work force.
And Maine has an unemployment rate of about 2.9%.
For the summer at least wages at fast food restaurants
are starting at $11.00 and Wal-Mart is paying $12.00 in some parts of Maine. There is a shortage of workers in the building trades as well.

one needs to be careful with that number too. Labor force participation rates = Labor Force/Adult Population.
That number will decrease in part as the labor force gets smaller as baby boomers retire.
Labor Force = employed + unemployed
Adult Population= Adults over 16 not in prison, jails, mental hospitals etc.
This boomer has retired, but I don’t plan on dying off anytime soon.
I never thought smoking was cool and I gave up the bottle 10-years ago.
I plan to be a burden on society and an embarrassment to my son for many more years.
