He should ignore it, but before that he needs to fire them all. Appoint his own investigator into election rigging. And then enforce the outcome of that investigation with the full strength of the US gov’t.

“The President does not have to obey unlawful court orders. “

In fact the President doesn’t have to obey any Court orders.

There are but TWO enforcements against a POTUS doing as he damn well pleases (as Obama did, and darn near every POTUS before him):

1. The American People at election time
2. Congress upon Impeachment, Conviction and removal

The Constitution gave the Courts absolutely no power over the Executive. None.

Exactly. It seems everyone is dancing around the primary issue, which is: is an attempted coup against We the People an act of war? If not, then exactly what is it? A fun political game? However, if so, then the consitution applies:

If Mueller is part of this conspiracy, then his treason falls under 'aid and comfort'. Honestly, I think many many people are sort of sleep walking through what is really happening. It's as if history has been thrown out the window, with no regard to the consequences when the sh!t gets underway. Hello, English civil war, US revolution, French revolution, need I go on?

Mueller et al seem to think that applying standard deep state entrapment/prosecutorial techniques is still going to work. Do they not really understand the personal peril they are in? This goes for Sessions as well. I find it hard to believe these folks don't comprehend what is happening and what their personal risk if this escalates to the point of Trump pulling out Lincoln's militia call:

Look, you do this (what Rudy said), to see if Mueller will make a mistake. Mueller has already made a giant unforced error when he indicted the so-called 'troll farms' and by God one of them has pushed back hard.

You don't ignore the subpoena, that's also an unforced error.

Let me also point out that Trump is eventually going to sit for questioning, and he is going to bring up my tagline “Mueller personally delivered US uranium to Russia.”; Trump is going to bring up the FBI spy insertion, and mention Hillary by name; and he may decide it’s worth risking the fury of the Amish for the mid-terms by revealing something shocking about Bobo’s direct involvement in the conspiracy to derail Candidate Trump and the “insurance policy” treason.

“This is not a legal issue.
It’s a political issue.”

That’s exactly right.

When a President’s politician opposition in the legislative branch reaches a certain critical mass (serious impeachment rhetoric), REGARDLESS of whether there’s any legal merit to the case, there needs to be a political strategy for defusing it.

That’s what happened to Nixon, Clinton and Trump. Nixon and Trump had the additional problem of an aversarial media to overcome.

Nixon’s example proved that it is a mistake to view the challenge as a legal battle and not a political one. By asserting his executive privilege by having special prosecutor Cox fired, Nixon was legally within his rights, but it was a huge political misstep because it reinforced a public perception that he was evading and obstructing - a perception that strengthened the POLITICAL case against him.

Trump should avoid reinforcing Mueller’s credibility either by being excessively submissive, or by being insufficiently submissive. He has to play it right down the middle as he has been doing all along. Do not use executive authority to fire or otherwise hobble the investigation, but at the same time, do not submit to interrogations, subpoenas etc.

I think the perfect compromise is to talk as though he is considering the meeting, but never let it actually take place.

Trump is a showman and knows that Mulehead is not taking votes away from the Republican and he is in no danger from him. Let the charade continue until after the Fall elections.

He could then dismiss him without political considerations.

Fair enough, but better IMO is Trump’s advisors explaining to Trump and the world the lack of unconstitutional support for this stupid “Special Counsel” to the point where Trump gets it, talks about it, and then fires this guy (after the Fall elections if necessary I suppose) with maybe even POSITIVE political ramifications since the people have been duly educated.

The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land over the feds. But nobody seems to know how far the Left has taken America from the Constitution as written and originally understood and intended. Trump needs advisors who are aware of the REAL Constitution so that Trump can be educated and in turn, the American People can be educated, so we can move quickly to restoring our Free Constitutional Republic.

"...if he attempts to subpoena Donald Trump.

Note the condescending lack of the honorific, 'President,'

This isn't just a petty slight on the authors' part. They are literally stripping the President of his lawful position as head of our government.

For the 8 years of the GWB administration, the word after “president” for the swamp media was “Clinton”. Sometimes they even said it aloud. GWB was MISTER Bush, said with derision.

Some liberal scribblers don't give the President even that much respect.

NO REPUBLICAN can be elected to any office if they support impeachment, much less vote for it.

The backlash would be immediate and overwhelming.
