Colbert grills Bill Clinton: You are the most famous example of workplace sexual misconduct
The Hill ^ | 06/06/18 | John Bowden

CBS late-night host Stephen Colbert grilled former President Clinton on Tuesday about his recent comments about Monica Lewinsky and the #MeToo movement.

Colbert asked Clinton why he appeared surprised by questions about the Lewinsky affair during a recent interview, claiming that the incident was the most famous example of workplace sexual misconduct.

"You seemed surprised that that question would come up," he asked on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert." "That somehow, this had all been adjudicated in the past and that there was no reason to talk about it again, when it seems that the spirit of the #MeToo movement is that it doesn't matter how long ago it happened.

"It seemed tone-deaf to me," Colbert continued, "because you seemed offended to be asked about this thing when, in all due respect sir, your behavior was the most famous example of a powerful man sexually misbehaving in the workplace of my lifetime.

"Why are you surprised?" he asked the former president.

Etc...

Colbert didn't 'grill' Bill Clinton.

He turned Bill Clintons' treatment of women into a comedy gold.

Wow! Time for Dems to play pile-on.

Bill & Hill’s evil glares threatening Arkancide won’t save them now.

Oh, it’s VERY important to the democrats. The longer the Clintons remain the face and voice of the Democrat party and the more people are reminded of Bill’s indiscretions, the harder it is for them to raise money.

That’s why Colbert gave Bill less than the usual fawning bubba treatment.

That’s my take on it. They are trying to ENSURE they Clinton’s are DONE. They are a burden and a drain on the party. They are destroying any hope of hanging a “me too” narrative around the neck of Trump.

The Clintons are the ex-girlfriend that won’t stay dumped. They are undermining the message and still have their snouts in the fundraising trough. Colbert is the latest singing telegram sent to let them know it’s over, but they’ll decide when it’s over and it’s not over. You can’t dump them!

It may be a distraction but it also highlights the hypocrisy of the media and the #metoo movement.

Colbert is turning sexual manipulation of vulnerable women into a comedy bit.

Do the #metoo girls find this funny?

They should be outraged that Colbert is joking about this and Clinton is still making excuses.

You can clearly see the msm narrative in play.

Trump is a terrible person because he sexually abused women.

Clinton, on the other hand, gets to go on comedy chat shows and laugh about how he treated women.

Isn't it funny how liberals can laugh at the sexual abuse of women?

Considering how unstoppable and irresistible the Clinton charisma once was, and how the DNC and msm beat their enemies (aka “we, the people”) with Clinton’s tephlon coated, charismatic sex appeal on a daily basis to literally sell US out here, there and everywhere, I think it’s kinda funny how karma pulled a u-turn and then gunned it to run over the Clintons.

And... uh oh, looks like karma is backing up and getting ready to run over them again! And, who knows, maybe even a few more times before things even out.

See, the Clinton’s public support has always been emotional, but...
once those emotions turn negative, look out, because the Clinton Crime Family will likely be burned to the ground by their own supporters, not unlike what they themselves did to the families at Waco.

Should be fun: Women scorned up first.
(The line starts after them.)

Women own the left, wholesale. And they are Bernie-bots too, which has its own irony, given what he’s written about women in the past.

The left has become the party of hypergamy. Colbert either addresses the MeToo thing with Clinton, or he goes down with it as well.

Hypergamy doesn’t play well with men for sure, but it also doesn’t play well with most women either.

This is a good trend for the right.

Maybe in 20 years Stephen Colbert will ask Bill Clinton if he's apologized to the women he raped...

Seems Stephen Colbert finally 'cares' about a liberal elite women being abused and having her life destroyed... but how about the fly-over women who were raped?

Stephen Colbert, do you 'care' about Monica because she was a young 'liberal elite'?

And the women Clinton raped were not 'liberal elites'? Are you really that big a sh*t Stephen Colbert?

The orders may have gone out, but many of the troops have their old FBI files in the Clinton closet.

Good luck getting rid of the grifters.
