When are we going to start celebrating straight pride? As a man, I am very proud of the fact that I love women.
I have had discussions with friends about what could be the biggest sin and pride often wins out. Large pride often leads to other sins.
There is no freedom of speech. If you can lose your job for your opinion, we are not a free country.
If you are a spokesman for any given company and it turns out your words hurt the bottom line sales for a company, then you have failed in your job. Your job is to promote the company, not to damage it. The CEO has investors and/or shareholders who he or she needs to answer to and provide a good return on their investment. They must have research showing homosexuals make up a significant part of their customer base. This spokesman just alienated that particular portion and therefore should have been fired.
The spokesman should have known better and if he felt that strongly about the issue, he should have resigned.
Who is the guy that says only fudgepackers engage in CrossFit? How about moderating these morons????? Like to meet up with this clown!!!
If you want to avoid severe arthritis and painful joints later in life the avoid crossfit like the plague. The one thing I stress to youngsters working out in the gym is protect your joints. They will be the first thing to go as you get older if abused in the gym.
Tax perks are a good reason to incorporate. The company can lease a car, put a magnetic sign on it, and then allow an officer to drive it free for "advertising purposes". The company can purchase "assets", which the owner/officer can use in an unrestricted manner.
Then there is that shield from direct lawsuits.
Nobody should do business without forming a company. That costs about $300 in Georgia. A small price for a lot of protection and clear tax channels.
The First Amendment regulates ONLY the Federal government. It does not regulate The People.
The First Amendment regulates ONLY the Federal government. It does not regulate The People. It never did, it never will. That is because we are FREE, even business owners.
The fired employee Russell Berger stated The intolerance of the LGBTQ ideology toward any alternative views is mind-blowing. The CEO just proved him right.
Crossfit hates the first amendment. Nice to know.
actually, the 14th amendment kind of made the 1st amendment apply to states as well.
as far as the People, I agree.
Still doesn’t mean Crossfit doesn’t hate 1A, or at least the God given right behind the same.
OTOH, maybe it’d be more accurate to say CF hates biblical ethics. ‘cuz if this guy had spoken a PRO-homosexual message, they probably wouldn’t have fired him.
This is feeble and not getting at the point.
The final comment is closer. There’s an evil spell bidding to swallow the souls of the land, and this lugbutt nonsense is part of it.
It’s high, high time for those who still believe on the Lord to get on their knees and beg God for help like a lot of souls and lives depend on it. Because they do. Scream as we might at institutions that have gotten swallowed up, it will be in vain — might as well save our breath for heaven, which may yet hear.
Still, it doesn’t apply to people or companies. Any company can prohibit any kind of speech on its premises, and any individual can do the same in his home. The First Amendment controls ONLY the government.
It is a sin and we must stand up for religious freedom. This CrossFit company should feel the repercussion of people boycotting their stores.
JoMa
getting to the point i wanted to make.
