Inspector General Michael Horowitz informed lawmakers weeks ago on Capitol Hill his much-anticipated 400 page report on the FBI’s handling of Hillary Clinton’s email investigation entered the final stages.
Lawyers for the subjects included in the report were given a draft copy to prepare rebuttals for their clients which is what partially led to delays in releasing the report to the public.
DiGenova says the other reason for the delay is that Rod Rosenstein is scrubbing and redacting in order to protect the department employees.

President Trump needs to have Horowitz come to his office bringing with him the complete, untouched report!
If Congress shows any backbone and the IG spills the beans during his testimony, this could backfire on all the ones trying to cover up.

The House committee needs to ask Horowitz to bring the first draft to the hearing.
Expect the IG report to be released next week so it can be buried in the news cycle during the Trump North Korea summit.
The problem here is that he makes a damning allegation without providing any evidence. This is typical of the sensationalist narrative GP trots out in its reporting.
There is a process and it is being followed. It includes review by those affected. Let go of the pearls and just have a seat.

Exactly -- the reasoning is so clear that even Ray Charles can see it. If Rosenstein was up to no good good with the IG report, he certainly wouldn't tell DiGenova about it. But more importantly, President Trump can order anything to be released at any time. I'm not alleging that Joe DiGenova is a bad guy, just that he's playing a role. Everything will be released when President Trump orders it released; in other words, when President Trump wants it released. So far, President Trump is holding back for his own reason. Timing.

President Trump's personal friend knows full well that the president can order the full release of anything he wants to be released at any time. He is playing a role, and quite well.
