HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - President Donald Trump will stop in Hawaii after returning from his historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, the White House announced Monday.
Trump is scheduled to depart from Singapore on Tuesday night, and will visit a military base on Guam before arriving on Oahu.
The president is expected to arrive in the islands on Tuesday afternoon and is not expected to leave Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.
The White House said he plans to meet with U.S. troops briefly before heading back to Washington, D.C.
Details on his full itinerary have not yet been released.

Asking people 30 years after he left isn’t likely to get many detailed affirmative responses. People knew him at Punahou. Coaches, teammates and such.
My son was married in Hawaii and the fathers wore leis like the President,the mothers wore leis like Mrs. Trump.
