You are assuming he did what was stated. Don’t believe a word of anything from the purveyors of this coup.

I can tell you who on Mueller's hit squad is behind these outragous "hard ball" tactics.

Mueller deputy Andrew Weissmann has a reputation for hard-charging tactics — and sometimes going too far

Thanks...I thought she would look way more MANNISH. She also threw out the lawsuit by the parents of the dead in the Fast & Furious case.

Mueller comes thru in the clutch with a Friday drop so the talking heads don’t have to bother discussing the FBI election tampering on the weekend news shows.

Mueller gets the assist...the Leftist Judge gets the major credit.

The Patriot Act gives the president the power to eliminate all terrorists foreign AND DOMESTIC.

He has it within his power to take out judges, gov’t employees, media, anyone and everyone he pleases at any time, with no accountability.

Remember when Obama said for everyone to calm down because he “would never use it”? I guess Breitbart, Scalia, etc. died natural deaths/s.

Trump and his Generals know this. Whether they realize what needs to be done is up for debate. The Deplorables wait.

True enough.

Can she be recalled? A judge was just recalled in California for giving a lenient sentence to a rapist.

So the story is that a guy like Manafort is so stupid that he's going to tamper with witnesses while out on bail...

In Amerika they disappear you...

Note to you: Never be involved with Trump. That is the real point of all of these sham prosecutions.

"Standard practice if a defendant out on bail is trying to influence witnesses."

Why don't people on this board understand procedural law? Just because he was connected to Trump doesn't mean he's innocent of other crimes. We'll see.

There is no justice here. Do you really think they are concerned about the law? This is pure anti-Trump, anti-America, rogue, banana republic power grab. This is very reason the founders gave pardon power to the President.

IMHO, President Trump should PARDON Mr. Manafort for the alleged crime of witness-tampering.

Mr. Manafort has been ordered to jail for an indefinite period, where he will not be allowed to see the “evidence” against him. Meanwhile, Manafort’s lawyers are “gagged”. Gee, this sounds like “our” FBI has adopted the tactics of the Russian secret police, doesn’t it?

Some may argue that, even if the FBI’s “evidence” against Manafort is very flimsy, the “benefit of the doubt” should go to the FBI.

But those people ignore the fact that the Supreme Court ruled UNANIMOUSLY that, in one case, some members of Mueller’s “scheme-team” had concealed exculpatory evidence and had bullied innocent “suspects” into “confessing” in order to “win” that case. Therefore, the Supreme Court UNANIMOUSLY reversed that conviction and vacated the coerced “confession”.

This is not a one-time mistake. There is evidence of other “dirty tricks” played by members of the “scheme-team”.

So it seems to me that any “benefit of the doubt” here should go to Mr. Manafort.
