And the further hypocrisy of being pro-choice aka in favor of allowing women to murder their own offspring.

And, frankly, this law was actually signed into effect in 2008 under her husband’s leadership, not under this administration,” she added

Ouch. Laura I don't like your politics but you are a nice, decent lady. Since you don't know that your own husband is partially responsible for this mess you might want to STFU.

I always consider Laura Bush as a gracious First Lady but her coming out of retirement to attack the Trump administration over this issue that is being distorted and then hammered by the leftmedia is a huge disappointment.

That Sarah Sanders called Laura Bush out on her hypocrisy and made it clear this procedure was signed into law by Laura Bush’s husband and that congrees could remedy it but has not, was the exact right response; truthful and pointed.

I sincerely hope Sarah Sanders remains Trump’s Press Secretary for many more years. She is doing an excellent job under very hostile conditions.

Considering the media and liberals have always downplayed and criticized everything the Bushes did and do, why should they think this is different?

Mrs Bush was the only real lady to live in the White House from 1993 to 2017. Please don’t ruin that belief Mrs Bush.

Laura should help her stuttering idiot husband with his finger-painting and leave the open-borders advocacy to others.

Now W will have to stumble out and defend Laura and say that the policy does not require the separation of children from their parents. He will neglect to say that if you do not separate the families, the families do not show up for their hearings and that they disappear into our country for years sucking up resources that were meant for American children in American schools.

I love children. I take care of all the children placed in my care. But some of them should not be in this country nor should their parents. I’m surprised Common Core advocates have not realized that some of the failure of CC is due to the millions of foreign children admitted to American schools causing teachers to have to slow down instruction so the least common denominator can follow along. American students are held back in order for nonEnglish speakers to attempt to comprehend. It is wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that much of the steam would go out of the current fake news about this Border Policy, which was the product of the Bush administration, if the taxpayers were reminded hourly that each of these children are costing our country a reported $35,000 a year. How many legal American citizens have that much money to spend on each of their own children? Why is the American taxpayer being forced to support the leftist liberal generosity to uninvited, illegal, non Americans from around the globe? So far as I can see, the main advocates currently being featured by the biased media all live in gated environments and the last thing on their minds is sharing their comfortable lives with those they want to force on the rest of US citizens.

Laura deserved the bitch slap. Stfu. She had no problems when her husband signed it, or when it was law under her buddy Obama.

W Bush needs to keep his wife in her place.

And don’t forget, she and her spoiled brat daughters campaigned and voted for Hillary, as did her father in law.
