The whole Left has dived into this false issue.

And I agree, no disrespect to our Catholics in Christ, this Pope has a talent for sticking his foot in his mouth and his circle of influencers have a talent for sticking words in his mouth.

I would say the same if it were a leader of any other denomination.

Catholic here. This Pope is either just not that smart or he’s an antipope. It is interesting how the Lord still has another living Pope on the sidelines. But Francis is strangely silent while gay marriage sweeps the world and abortion votes in Ireland threaten the Catholic hospitals.

Mission creep at the highest level of the Catholic Church.

He is as damaging to the Catholic church as Barack Obama was to the USA.

Frankie is not our friend. He preferred to have Hillary to deal with, not Trump.

Francis is a fraud and usurper. Jesuits are very shrewd and brilliant especially at political maneuvers. I spent 8 years getting a very good education fro them, but I do not trust them and am no longer a Catholic.

Benedict resigned five years ago, stating that he was no longer up to the demands of the papacy. Yet he seems to be OK today. And his successor just happens to be a radical. The whole thing is very, very odd.

I rarely on any comments or edicts from this pope or any past pope, not qualifying as a “Christian” in his eyes (I’m Baptist) but it’s high time he was selected by a gaggle if his Socialist/Communist/Homosexual peers!

In my opinion, this guy can take his comments or rambling utterances and put them “where the sun don’t shine” (a less than decent comment I know, for a follower of Christ) but he can use them for so much toilet paper, for all the good they matter, as they are always trotted out by the Catholic-hating leftists around the world to smear the United States!

I was wondering when he would come out of his marxist shell and yell at Trump.

Well, I know what you mean: but there are some very sound Jesuits out there still: Then there are others (including Pope Francis) who are --- not so much.

America has been more generous than any nation on Earth, with the acceptance of undocumented aliens - to the point of a vast depletion of our treasury, funded by massive borrowing that puts furure generations at risk. The Pope does not have the right to selectively judge America when other nations never put themselves at risk, including Mexico, in dealing with this problem.

Enough is enough, in this contrived, manufactured crisis. The Pope should go to the nation’s that are sending their children away and seek to help them, instead of blaming America.

No, he’s a Peronista. That means Communism for you, riches for my friends, and brutal enforcement combined with cult of personality.

Is this the anti-pope that has been foretold for centuries? I have heard some say he will be the last pope of the Catholic Church.

I hope "(or was)" doesn't mean you've left the Church.

That would be dereliction of duty, abandoning your post because of the enemy inside the gates.

You're supposed to fight, not desert.

It would be more accurate to call him ‘’the former pope’’.

The socialist pope who doesn’t believe in the Bible.

The devil’s best work is making people not believe he is not real.

What is up with this guy? Sorry Catholics. Don't mean to offend, but how is it this guy took over for another Pope that suddenly resigned?

No need to apologize. I am a lifelong Catholic and wish there were a way officially to resign from the Rome-led abortion and embracers of perverts and deviants.

I will continue practicing my faith the old-fashioned way... by living it as a 50s Catholic.
