This is exactly what ICE should be doing with every person in their custody. They have broken the law coming into the country illegally and at a minimum the Government should have a way to identify them if they commit even more crimes, and to identify any child smuggler - who should then be prosecuted to the fullest.
They’ll keep the DNA.
A database of DNA, fingerprints and photographs. All illegal invaders who get caught should be added to it.
