LOL! That truck is SWEET isn’t it? A 1915 White. Those were used by the military and afterwards were sold to whoever wanted to buy one. Mr. Werner’s family had a logging business and his father bought that truck to haul logs. It was used for a long time and that’s it in the large photo with huge tree trunks loaded on it.

It was very nice of him to give us each one of those caps. They NICE.

There are already some episodes of previous shows on You Tube and I’ve watched a couple of them. Just type in “military collectors tv show” in YT’s search.

What a daunting task....crates and crates, but what satisfaction to see them ready for display.

I’ll take the camera with me Sat. when I go back up there to work. I could have sworn I’d already photographed it but there’s nothing in the folder with all the others.

Yeah, I like that truck! It’s got class!

I’ll have to check out the episodes on YT. Bet it’s interesting.

Guess I’d better head out. Loved seeing all the photos. So much stuff...so little time!

It's a little overwhelming, that's for sure. Here's a shot of a few of the crates that I took the night we got back from Tupelo last year. It was the first time I'd been in the museum and I snapped a lot of pix then while the guys off-loaded everything we brought back that trip.
You can see the table and chairs by the two in the background for reference to the size of those crates. And they hold a LOT of stuff! There are over 50 of them in the shop building now, waiting to be unpacked. The guys have a much more daunting task ahead of them than I do because there will be MANY more brought up.

It looks pretty good from a distance but the poor old thing is a little rough around the edges. Its still an awesome truck!

The shows are interesting indeed. It’s neat to see what other collectors have gathered up to preserve.

Glad you enjoyed the pix. If you EVER get a chance to head over this way, it’s all more interesting in person. :-)

Sleep well. Hope you have a good day tomorrow.

I’m just glad all I have to worry about are the uniforms. LOL! At least for now.

It’s going to take quite a while for the guys to deal with all the stuff coming up from MS. Mr. Creely collected it for 60 years and you can’t go through that much stuff very quickly. It’s astounding how much he amassed! They’ll have another building before long and those plans are already in the works.

It’ll be a lot of work for all of us but dang, it’s fun to watch the place grow!

I did see this and watched an extensive report about it, but I had forgotten that the gun range was in Gatesville...especially since it’s sorta out in the middle of nowhere.

RIP, the person who lost his life.
