We gotta be honest with ourselves. One of the two is going to extort some kind of deal on legislation for her vote. I don’t think it’s out of the question that one of them would vote no just for the publicity and behind-the-scene high-fives with progs.
WEAK SISTERS!
Mitch, you need to start the hearings for the replacement post haste, waiting plays right into their hands. You, Mitch, delayed the hearings on Obamas pick and thankfully we got Gorsuch (sp?). If you don’t start now the Dems have a good case to argue that they should be put off until after the midterms and hope that they win. Don’t wait start now and cancel the summer vacations. They don’t work more than a couple of hours a week anyway.
Well, these dem senators are between a rock and a hard place. If they oppose the nominee, the will lose and the nominee will be approved in mid-November. I do think it’s a stretch to get ‘er done in the fall, but that may be a good thing as it will energize the Trump base and allow Trump to go on the campaign trail like he did in ND.
Even the SCOTUS expert on the NBC morning show said he expected about 6 dems to vote for Trump’s nominee.
Believe it or not, smarmy Chucky Todd said about all the demented dems can do is beat their chests and yell.
If so, who are the Dems who could possibly vote for Trumps nominee?
Joe Donnelly(Indiana), Heidi Heitkamp(North Dakota), Jon Tester(Montana), Joe Manchin(West Virginia), Sherrod Brown(Ohio), and Claire McCaskill(Missouri).
Then there is dumber than dirt Bill Nelson(Florida).

I would bet that Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski would be kind of afraid to vote no on Trump’s pick, but I’m not sure. And, of course, I’m not sure about John McCain. He might just do it again as a last shot at the Republicans.
