Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on Wednesday touted his Republican colleague Sen. Mike Lee (Utah) as the "best choice" to fill the Supreme Court vacancy created by Justice Anthony Kennedy's retirement announcement.
"I think the single best choice President Trump could make to fill this vacancy is Sen. Mike Lee," Cruz said on Fox News shortly after Kennedy's announcement. "I think he would be extraordinary."

Scott Walker was a primary opponent. He can be forgiven. Lee? Not so much. No excuses. As you can see, very few around here want Lee to be the choice.

Anwar Al-Awlaki’s kids born in Yemen are as eligible as Ted Cruz.
And Mike Lee was 100% behind Ted Cruz, that is until Trump won the nomination. He has been quite supportive since that time.

If the Democrats vote along straight party lines and Lee is nominated (and, therefore, can’t vote for himself), he can’t get confirmed. What are people touting him thinking?
Well, I for one supported trump the minute he finished his speech on the escalator. I knew then that he would defeat every other candidate and would win.
As for the average IQ, who knows.
You have no monopoly on wise opinions. The fact that people dont agree with you does not make your assertions true and others false. On this thread, for example, the vast majority oppose lee and have little good to say about cruz. Deal with it. Cruz lost. Trump won.
