“This president is the subject of a criminal investigation,” Booker said.
Really? How about you prove that statement Booker? Sure you can make the statement but is that a factual statement or just you farting into the wind!

Booker’s “logic” seems to be, that innocent until proven guilty should not be extended to his political rivals.

Allegation is good enough to strip the Constitutional authority from his political opponents.

Booker swore to uphold the Constitution when he took office, but proposes contravening it now:

“Should that person be able to right now, while this criminal investigation’s going on (lie), be allowed to make an appointment? I say no,” Booker said.

Cory is gay. Everyone in NJ knows this. Net positive unfortunately in the Democratic Party.

Dunno if this is considered a plus in flyover country.

Also, dunno that he isn't under criminal investigation, himself. Heard anything about Pedogate recently? He's been saying a lot more bat**** crazy stuff that sounds more like he's gone off the rails than he usually does. Wonder what's really going on here?

They really believe that they are entitled to run the country, tell the rest of us what we can say, do, bake, decorate. The only “liberties” they would allow are the the ones to be as perverted as you can be. They act like the eternal order of the universe has been put out of whack unless they have the reins of government and are telling everyone else how to live (but if you’re a pervert, just carry on).

I can’t wait until President Trump wins re-election. The left may just drink and drug itself into oblivion then.

The “right” to commit crimes, including violent crimes, with impunity, is only for the protected” classes, to him and his ilk.

One can only imagine the level of angst the Left will have if Darth Bader Ginsberg doesn’t wake up some morning in the not too distant future. While I don’t wish her harm, this is inevitable at some point, ant the Left will lose another seat Their world is going to come crashing down. Ginsberg isn’t the only justice that may vacate in the next few years either.

Clinton vs. Jones

One of the justices Clinton appointed did not protect Bill Clinton as is used as a preventive reason in this article by the Senator—Ruthy. Her appointment may have preceded the investigation.

I read on FB yesterday a great point posted by Chris S...”A little tidbit. President Bill Clinton nominated Justice Stephen Breyer May 1994 during the special investigation into the Clinton Whitewater scandal so any idea that Trump should wait because he is under investigation has no merit.”

Mueller has assured Trump he is not the subject of his investigation.

No, he hasn't. He told Trump he was not (at the moment) a "target". In this context, the word "target" has a highly specific and very narrow meaning.

Telling Trump he is not a "target" is highly misleading, so much so as to be an outright lie.

What Trump is, is a "subject" of a Grand Jury investigation (or more than one). I have BEEN a "subject" of a federal Grand Jury investigation, after very unwisely speaking to two FBI agents who showed up in my office one day without having a lawyer present.

A "subject" is one hair's breadth away from being a "target". The difference is, when you become a "target", the government has to notify you by sending you a "target letter" telling you that the prosecutor has probable cause to accuse you of a crime or crimes and that he will be presenting his evidence to a Grand Jury.

The easiest way to graduate from being a "subject" to being a "target" is to provide evidence to the prosecutor without first being given immunity. All the prosecutor has to do is to get you to make a statement under oath which conflicts with evidence he has (or has made up), and, bingo! You are now a "target".

In my case, I was collateral damage as part of a larger issue the government was pursuing, BUT, by giving evidence that the government needed without immunity, it would have been easy for the government to indict me to squeeze the people I worked for at the time.

As it turned out, I was granted "use immunity", testified, and the big fish threw a fundraiser for the Clinton campaign (Bill), and the whole thing went away.

President Trump is the subject, the only subject, of the Mueller investigation. As such, he can't get immunity (what would be the point - it's him they want) - and he's inches away from target status.

For a smart guy, he doesn't have a very good legal team. Pray for him, but keep your powder dry.

Booker is exercising his "black" privilege (i.e. saying whatever nutty thing that comes to mind because he knows from experience that there will be no repercussions because of his skin color).

This is the same thing exemplified by Mad Maxine.

Unfortunately for Bug-Eyes Booker and Mad Max, Honey Badger Trump doesn't give a sh!t about their poor widdle victim privilege.

I don't think there is any doubt that the President is the "subject", the only subject, of the Mueller investigation.

What he's not (yet) is a "target".

You are correct. Affirmative action enables stupid people to think they're smart. They are then too stupid to realize how stupid they are.
