Actual real facts that are absolutely true:

At President Bill Clinton’s request, Attorney General Janet Reno appointed a special prosecutor, Robert B. Fiske, to investigate the legality of the Whitewater transactions in January 1994. In August 1994, Kenneth Starr was appointed by a three-judge panel to continue the Whitewater investigation, replacing Robert B. Fiske, who had been specially appointed by the attorney general, prior to the re-enactment of the Independent Counsel law. Fiske was replaced because he had been chosen and appointed by Janet Reno, Clinton’s attorney general, creating a conflict of interest.

On April 6, 1994, Associate Justice Harry Blackmun announced his retirement (and assumption of senior status), which ultimately took effect August 3, 1994. President Clinton announced Stephen Breyer as Blackmun’s replacement on May 13, 1994, with the United States Senate confirming Breyer on July 29, 1994.

Maybe not now.

Thomas now has the chance to write Majority rulings on many issues that just 3 days ago were not possible.

Like rogue Judges, anchor Babies, DACA,Gay marriage, Affirmative Action, criminal invaders legal rights.

"...Cory [Booker] is gay..."

Whenever he is seen on television he has that weird hyper-aggressive behavior often seen in closeted gay males.
Then seemingly moments later he is uncontrollably crying and sobbing about illegal immigrants.
Then it is back into attack dog mode about the rage du jour he wishes to screech about. He is a predictable person.

Or we could follow this line of thinking and vacate Roe because the opinion writer, Blackmun, was appointed by Nixon.

This is getting a bit on the funny side. So if you lose an election just open a phony investigation for the duration of the term so there are no consequences for your loss. These people are truly unhinged

Wow, the ‘RATS are really getting desperate. At this point it’s actually becoming fun to watch them thrash about in their helplessness.

Jerry: I don't know, I'm obsessed with it. It's like a spider in the toilet struggling for a survival. And even if you know it's not going to make it, you kind of root it for awhile.

Elaine: And then you flush.

Jerry: Well, it's a spider.

Booker testify for Democrat Senator Melendez at his felony trial AND ALSO had no objection to Melendez voting against Trump's Gorsuch SCOTUS nomination - while Melendez was under that 14 count felony indictment. Trump has not been indicted or even named a “target” of Mueller investigation.

Those words should very easily be shoved down Booker's throat every time he speaks them.

[Melendez indicted 4/1/15; Gorsuch vote 4/7/17; Melendez jury hung 11/16/17.)

So, all we have to do is keep democrat presidents under investigation to keep them from nominating judges or doing any other presidential duties???

Perfect!

Booker must have been listening to Rush the other day. He said “I assure you that someone will come up with the Trump is under investigation meme”.

Here is what I see going down, as outlined by Dan Bongino:

The Left is in a tight place.

Here is a problem for them: The election does not look like it will be a “Blue Wave”. It may not be a “Red Wave”, but it likely won’t be a “Blue Wave”.

So here is the thought process for the Left:

Their only chance is to take back the Senate. But that doesn’t look likely. They have (IIRC) at least six senators up for re-election in states that went for Donald Trump in 2016, so their states supported Donald Trump.

If there is vote for a new justice prior to the election and they vote down that selection in a state that went for Donald Trump, that may not go over well, and they could lose their seat due to the political fallout.

So, here is what Trump should do: Get two candidates on deck, one who is very conservative and reliable, and one who is over the top conservative, a “Leftist Nightmare of a Supreme Court Justice”.

Trump will put up the very conservative and reliable one for nomination prior to the 2018 election, with the very public knowledge (unsaid of course) that if that “reliable” candidate is rejected, after the election, the wildly radically conservative candidate will be nominated.

The Leftists then have a gamble to consider: Do they accept the less radical candidate and vote them in before the election, or do they wait until after the election, when some Leftist senators from states that Trump won may go down due to the backlash to the rejection, and now they don’t have a chance to pick off enough Republican Senators (such as Collins from Maine and Murkowski from Alaska, both of who are raging RINOs and can likely be counted on by the Left) to counter the Democrat Senators who lost.

So, either they accept a conservative nominee we like and can live with, or they gamble, hoping against hope to regain power in the election to thwart any nominee. If they lose, they will get a radical conservative nominee who will be shoved down their throats, and they are going to just have to take it with no recourse.

That is how I see it going down.

Democrats don’t control any branch of government, yet they think they are authorized to rewrite the Constitution. Delusional!

There’s nothing they can do....nothing. The only thing is now is Trump. I don’t see him caving esp not with this pick. And when the next one comes, he won’t cave on that pick either.

The democrats know this.

Term limits is the best way to end the BS in Congress. Then who cares what party you’re in, you’re there to serve the people and get out.

“For a smart guy, he doesn’t have a very good legal team.”

Whether or not Mueller considers Trump to be a “target” or the “subject” of an investigation is a non legal distinction.

Even if Mueller’s report recommended impeachment and removal, and the House and the Senate were to proceed, this would be a political process, not a legal one.

As such, the role of Trump’s legal team with regard to the scope of the Mueller investigation and any proceedings against Trump, is limited to providing political and public relations representation and advice.

Trump doesn’t even need a legal team for Russiagate.
