This has to be an Onion article. Democrats wouldn’t actually say that and mean it. If they did, revoke their US citizenship since the US Constitution is a major tenant of acquiring citizenship.

The oath of public office has become a joke because our elected officials no longer adhere to its principles of law. So, what will happen when a Democrat gets elected to office and refuses to take the oath to protect and defend the US Constitution? I believe that will happen as another form of the democrat’s sleezy protests and Obviously that person shouldn’t be allowed to assume office. Unless no more socialist democrats ever get elected, it’s coming and what message will that signal to all Americans?
