WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump on Friday said he wanted to further lower the corporate tax rate, from 21 percent to 20 percent, as part of a second round of tax cuts later this year.

Trump, in an interview with Fox News to mark the six-month anniversary of the $1.5 trillion tax cut law Republicans passed last year, said other parts of the new tax plan would be tailored to the middle class.

“One of the things we’re thinking about is bringing the 21 percent down to 20 and for the most part, the rest of it will go right to the middle class,” Trump said. “It’s a great stimulus.”

Trump said the tax plan would be ready by October, “maybe a little sooner than that.”

And move Employee Business Expenses and Investment Expenses To above the line deductions. In full, no 2% BS. They are expenses attributable to income that is fully taxed, so they should be fully deductible, Itemizer or not

Tax return prep fees as well.

C’mon baby, let’s just do 10% across the board. It’s good enough for the Lord.

Then I can give my first fruits to God and give a like amount to my country.

Do it!

He should throw more bones to the lower class, too, and rip more of them away from the Democrat Party. With that and even more jobs, the election landslides against Democrats would be unprecedented.

How about raising HSA deduction to at least allow all medical premiums for a family? That would be great. I sent that in to PDJT’s website.

And while we’re at it, make charitable contribution 100% deductible for all taxpayers...don’t include them as part of the “standard deduction”. And no phase-out for higher income taxpayers, either.”””

How about making donations to BUILD THE WALL deductible as charitable deductions-—both for personal income taxes & corporate income taxes.

SEE how fast we can fund the WALL.

There are constant TV ads running here in N Nevada indicating that the tax cuts ONLY went to the very wealthy. I don’t recognize the name of the group paying for them.

I always tell people-—I NEVER got a paycheck signed by a POOR MAN.

Middle class (upper and lower) needs the most help with lower taxes. Yes, make this happen! The first tax cuts were appreciated, but not a huge impact for regular folks.

“Is there anyone left on this site who cares about what making these cuts permanent does to the projected deficit?”

I hope not, because that is a Leftist mentality.

The government is too big, and spends too much.

Whether this excess spending is financed by tax or by deficit it harms the private economy.

As a result of Leftist propaganda, most people do not understand this, and believe the deficits are worse than the excess taxation. The Leftists use this as a fear of deficits as a tactic to trick non leftist “fiscal conservatives” into raising taxes to avoid deficits, or into not cutting taxes if they will “cause” deficits.

I put the word cause in quotes to emphasize the point that tax cuts are not the cause of deficits, spending I excess of revenues is what causes deficits.

mane no mistake: deficits are bad. The point is that the cure for deficits is always reducing spending, NOT raising taxes. Past tax hikes have created an umbrella for excessive spending for decades, and the only way to restore the balance is cutting both spending and taxes.

The correct fiscal policy is to cut both taxes and spending - but second best is to cut taxes even if deficits rise. Then be honest with the American people and blame deficits not on the tax cuts, but on the excess spending - and elect politicians who will address the true cause.

The very worst policy is to to use deficit reduction to justify excessive taxes.

So I say, damn the torpedos, full tax cuts ahead!

Keep moving towards tax rates of 0%, to the best of human abilities, and asap! Also, place upon all tax forms, state AND federal, options to, voluntarily, allow entities AND individuals the opportunity to pay more in taxes than what they owe, if they wish to do so and as long as they can afford to do so. Either, individuals and entities who wish to pay more in taxes can choose where they would want this extra tax money to go, or the IRS would be able to choose for them, if they have no preferences chosen. Allowing voluntary payments of taxes would fulfill The Lefts’ wishes, to a degree, and prove who, really, believes in tax increases and who doesn’t believe in tax increases. Also, all fake requests will end up being punished severely, and instructions beforehand would warn people/entities likewise.

Can’t the Congress once and for all repeal ALL of 0bamacare?

The suit filed by about a dozen states should eliminate Obamacare by finding it unconstitutional. There will be some politically unpopular fallout from that but the greater good will be served.

He said that a couple of weeks ago.

Surely you jest. Deficits only concern Republicans when a Democrat is in the White House and only concern Democrats when a Republican is in the White House.
