Some excerpts from this report---

"""Putnam has also drawn the support of 45 sheriffs, another sign of the strength of his grassroots-style campaign."""

Putnam is hardly the 'grassroots' candidate. He has been bought and paid for by the GOP Elite, just like his buddy Jeb Bush was a puppet of the GOP Elite in 2016.

"""DeSantis will amplify that strategy on Monday when Fox News host Sean Hannity will campaign with him and U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., in Fort Myers, Tampa and Pensacola."""

Be sure to alert your friends re Monday's campaign stops with Sean Hannity.

"""DeSantis scored an endorsement coup when incoming House Speaker Jose Oliva, R-Miami Lakes, announced his support"""

Oliva's support will help DeSantis with the Hispanic vote.

"""Soon-to-be-former House Speaker Richard Corcoran, a Land O’ Lakes Republican who supports Putnam"""

Unfortunately, Corcoran is having a bad case of sour grapes as he had hoped to run.

"""The same Fox poll that gave Putnam a solid lead also showed 86 percent of Republican voters support Trump, who has endorsed DeSantis."""

When the Republicans go to the polls on August 28th, they will remember DeSantis fully supports Trump while Putnam was a 'never-Trumper'.

DeSantis would make a good Governor but i think id rather have him in congress. Putnam would make a decent Gov. Tough call.

When it comes to people like Ron DeSantis and Jim Jordan, I must admit I am rather selfish. I don’t want Jim Jordan to become speaker of the house, I want him exactly where he is. I would much rather have DeSantis in Congress rather than as governor of Florida, even if he wants to be governor of Florida. These are exceptionally skilled legislators and I think they’re doing the best job they can possibly do exactly where they are. I don’t want them promoted I don’t want Jim Jordan to be the speaker of the house where he will have 230 times as many people beating on him and lobbying him for every ridiculous thing that can possibly throw at him. Many of them will be surrogates just lined up to distract him. I don’t want Ron DeSantis to be thinking about education, that is a distracting issue. It’s not like I don’t think that these guys are deserving, in fact quite the opposite but I like them and in my opinion we need them exactly where they are.

Both of the candidates are good, however I’m with Putnam...but really on a scale from 1 to 10, Putnam is 9.999, DeSantis is 9.998. What happens, I hope the Florida GOP will be United...for November.
