It’s a shame we’re looking at the destruction of Irish Culture along with the rest of Europe.

The Irish blew up a lot of English and Ulster Scots people just so they’d have a better chance to abolish their borders and give their country to third-worlders. That’s all we need to know about the “sanity” of Ireland.

“Europe needs migration”

So says the Indian leader of Ireland. Not exactly surprising.

The most idiotic thing said by an Irish politician since de valera’s note of condolence to Nazi Germany upon learning of the death of Hitler.

Jun 3, 2017 - As a gay man born to an Indian father, Leo Varadkar would probably never have become Ireland’s prime minister a generation ago....

Or since President Michael D Higgins wrote a glowing eulogy praising Fidel Castro. This country has jumped off a cliff as far as embracing radical liberalism is concerned. The hate for Trump from our mainstream media is embarrassing.

Leo Varadkar wants to suppress the will of the people and commit to actions that utterly harm the Irish people.

Where’s the IRA when you need them?

Interesting words, coming from the PM of a lightly populated country which will head straight for the toilet bowl of history when millions of muslim trash move in from the ME.

Was there always a radical leftist undercurrent in Irish politics?

Ireland is lost.

And sadly, entirely on its own volition. Ireland is lost because it WANTS to be lost.

Problem is.. is this not the will of the Irish people -- the same people who by 2/3, voted to legalize abortion?

Well, now that they gleefully legalized the murder of unlimited numbers of indigenous Irish, the can proceed to Step 2.

`

Eliminate Irish people

`

Import Anyone Else

How did Ireland go from one of the most conservative country to one of the most liberal?

My heart breaks for Ireland the land of my father’s family which includes Michael O’Coileain. Ireland is now just another Eurostan shit hole that I will never visit again.

What do you expect from a gay politician of Indian descent? His allegiance is definitely not going to be with native catholic Irish.

He has a point in that Europe’s native birthrate has fallen below replacement level.

The folks opposing mass immigration may need to put there money where their mouths are, and start pro-creating again.

We were never as conservative as a nation as people thought. There has always been extreme leftists and extreme liberals waiting in the wings. The country has literally reinvented it’s national identity in the last 15 to 20 years though.

A lot of Ireland’s catholic identity came, in my opinion, from the history of being under British rule, and suffering under that. It was like if you weren’t a catholic you weren’t really Irish in some peoples eyes. Since the nineties, the widespread abuse and cover ups in many parts of Ireland caused a lot of people to move away from any identity based on being catholic to making a new identity as ultra liberal. I say all this as someone who converted to Christianity many years ago as a nominal catholic and now attend a baptist church.

There are other factors also. Many Irish are huge pro-Palestine and anti-Israel supporters. They buy into the anti Israel, Palestinians are defenseless victims that the media spreads and relate to this because of how Ireland suffered under the English. Also, there is no conservative media here at all. Finally, the country was hit badly by the financial crisis. The government decided to take on all the debt that Irish banks had accumulated, then the European Union and the IMF blackmailed us into accepting a bailout that placed a huge debt burden on taxpayers. The socialist parties have used that situation to argue that capitalism is always bad, and socialism is supposedly the answer.

So, it was more of a cultural affectation, then?
