It is not encouraging that she has no private sector experience beyond running the non-profit African American Art & Culture Complex. But, for what it's worth, having grown up in the Western Addition (which Herb Caen said should be subtracted) she is probably quite familiar with drug addicts.

I know, used to be, when I thought of SF, the SF depicted in the movie “Vertigo” came to mind. I skipped right over the “hippie” era depiction. But now, all I envision is mountains of poop, rivers of urine, and needles on the ground like fallen autumn leaves in a forest. Oh, and naked, or costumed, sodomites sashaying around.
Michael Savage lives around this every day and to the extent I listen and talk radio gets little of my time (too much propaganda) he takes note of how it bothers him and how he deals with it on a personal level.

I try to avoid Frisco, as well. Traffic is terrible in the Preston/DNT corridor, but even worse, it's full of Californians.
They can do very little about it.
They have empowered people who are all in on having needles and fecal matter adorning the streets because they feel it is an acceptable price to pay for their liberal lunacy...and they keep voting them in.
I live in a blue state where conservatives have no chance to obtain public office. None. And the system has been rigged to keep it that way.
My dad, who held public office in this state, made the decision to run as a Democrat, but there was nothing even remotely Democrat about him. (He was a plank owner in Citizens for Limited Taxation) He chose to do it to try to get into office so he could make a difference.
I don’t doubt there are people in San Francisco who won’t vote for the liberal turds, but there are too many that do.
Sad. It is a viscous political cycle, one I understand all too well.
