I wouldn’t see why the question wasn’t asked myself.
If it collapses, S. America would have a Somalia situation on its hands that could spread into Columbia, Brazil, and other neighbors.
If it came down to it, it would have to be S. American boots on the ground with maybe some U.S./Dutch/French logistical support.

I read an analysis of dozens of political assassinations. In not one case did the assassination achieve what the assassin wanted. Killing politicians is not the best way to go. The results are unpredictable and you run the risk of making a bad situation much worse. And, at that point, anything that happens is YOUR fault.
The best way out for Venezuela is for the Venezuelans to resolve their own problem.

A society that respects natural rights has a natural duty and a perfect right to use violence to overthrow a tyrannical government. If there is a good chance that it would succeed, and there would be no sacrifice, then it would be rational to do so.
