The conservative commentators who absolutely despise President Trump are in a box.
During the campaign, many loudly proclaimed that they could never vote for Trump. But they said they didn't want Hillary Clinton to win either. So some opted for fringe candidates or third-party candidates or write-in candidates or told people to make up their own minds.
This was something of a charade. Either Trump or Clinton was going to be the next president. So by refusing to back Trump, they were increasing the chances that Hillary would win.
Now, with the midterms approaching, some of those on the right are taking the step that they refused to take in 2016: They are openly rooting for the Democrats.
This is how topsy-turvy our politics have become.

R Emmet Tyrell in the old American Spectator used to have “the Strange New Respect Award” for alleged conservatives who sell out to the left, and get liberal pats on the head for their self-debasement. Now Kurtz has stumbled on the same pattern.
We have all seen it— how giddy Bill Bennett was when he landed a token gig on CNN, same with Hewitt gloating about his Saturday morning graveyard show on MSNBC, now Will is a MSNBC sellout, and Never-was Max Boot has gone wherever.
The bottom line is, media whores are media whores no matter what clothes they wear to attract customers.
I believe we’re experiencing a major shift as people awaken.
The #WalkAway movement will bring many Dems to the Trump-ican Party.
Likewise, believe it or not, there really are conservatives who despise Trump. I shake my head at their arrogance, ignorance, and utter snobbery, but make no mistake, it is there.
I say, let them go to the Dems and see how welcome they are. Ha.
If they are openly rooting for socialists, they are not and never were conservatives.

It is time for Trump to declare a new “National Party” for his supporters to flock to, and leave the “democrat/RINO/progressive party” to flock to theirs.

I split with fellow neo-conservatives for the reason I thought they were fools and voting for Hillary Clinton was simply not an option.
Never Trumpers never say what Trump has done wrong. And they want to punish him for delivering on the conservative agenda.

Historically, Marxist are always international-socialists and the only national socialists are Nazis (National Socialist Party) and Fascists. Needless to say Nazis & Fascists have been purged from political participation in Western Countries.
