Good chance his senate replacement would not be such a vocal never-Trumper and one voice of constant criticism from there gone.
Utah governor Herbert was critical of Trump before the election, and he's still been critical of him in the past year.
I think there's a good chance he'd appoint Evan McMullin as Lee's replacement.

Lee was vile to and about Trump LONG after the primaries were over. He is absolutely lacking in discernment, so why the hell would Trump appoint him? His unspoken but obvious support of Hillary for president is nauseating.
i’d be much more interested in Levin’s opinions of the different kinds of cheese sandwiches and which ones he recommends ...

He announced his support for Trump in very early September, and had working up to the announcement since just after the convention. As a high profile Cruz supporter, with a national show, it had difficult.
It was a very contentious primary. Levin spent hours & hours on his national show exposing Hillary before and after his Trump support announcement. That supported Trump. So I guess we will have to agree to disagree.
