agreed.
it is bizarre
and expensive
and diverting from the investigations that really NEED doing (SorozNazi, HilLIARy, Obamma whatever his real name may be, DNC)
i also I think this current ‘investigation’ of nothing is damaging to our political system
and
potentially quite dangerous

Just makes it more likely that any eventual conviction will be overturned on procedural grounds.

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team on Monday reportedly requested a federal judge prevent former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort from arguing at his trial that he’s the subject of selective prosecution...well gee, maybe Mueller should just give the judge a list of the defenses he deigns it acceptable for Manafort to use....

Since when does the prosecution get to also run the defense?

” Feds have such a high conviction rate.”

Yeah. It’s over 95%

One is witness tampering by the Feds. Trump up charges against witnesses to flip them, So ironic that’s what they’re accusing Manafort of doing.
Second is jury tampering. Feds can put pressure on jurists too.

Juries need to stand up and disregard the fascist prosecutors and judges and opt for jury nullification. There re so many reasons: prosecutorial abuse, cruel and unusual punishment, outside scope of investigation.

Mueller, like former congressman Murtha, as earned the title....”ex Marine.”

All former Marines understand this is meant as an insult.

Yes, there are most definitely 2 trials going on. That was my point. Isn’t Judge Ellis also presiding over a trial against Manafort?

He’s the one people were hoping would but an end to the shame, but the trial appears to be going forward.
