In 227 years since the ratification of the 2nd Amendment, there has never been a ban on all semiautomatic rifles in the United States, and only for 10 of those 227 years has their existed an ‘assualt weapons ban’ at the federal level.

Taking away my Constitutional rights will not make the world safer.
Just thinking about it makes me angry. Granted, I am not sure how much input the USN was allowed to have (and I do recognize they are now deeply steeped in all things PC) but even still...I find it deeply humiliating as a son of a career Naval Officer and a sailor myself.

The law against all felons owning a gun must be overturned. The non-violent felon, in the very least, should be able to own a gun.
