The Numbers Are In, And It’s Looking Pretty Bad For Senate Dems In November
The Daily Caller ^ | 07/10/2018 | Vandana Rambaran

Democrats are in for an uphill battle in November’s midterm elections as they struggle to overtake the GOP-led Senate, according to an Axios and SurveyMonkey poll of key states released Tuesday.

Although Democrats only need to pick up two seats to gain the majority in the Senate, they are struggling to control 10 states already held by Democratic senators. These states are now predominantly red states with voters who are strong supporters of President Donald Trump. They include Indiana, Missouri, Montana and North Dakota, all of which Trump won in 2016, while his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton couldn’t even win over 40 percent of voters in any of those states, according to a Politico report.

Chances of flipping most states where Republican senators are up for reelection seems slim, with states like Nebraska, Utah and Wyoming most likely a solid GOP win, according to polling data by RealClearPolitics. Democrats’ only hope will be to replace GOP Sen. Jeff Flake from Arizona as he retires with one of their own, while simultaneously defeating GOP Sen. Dean Heller in Nevada.

Lets hope it looks so bad they lose every seat! They deserve that.

I resisted Limbaugh’s ‘the media are the real leaders of the Democrat party’ for quite some time but the evidence is hard to ignore.

Welcome to the party.

I have been preaching it since 1996.

Others have said we are being ruled by a mediacracy since 1974.

The sad part is if the NeverTrump gang would have helped instead of working for the RATS, we could be looking at picking up 6-8 Senate seats.

Plus the Ohio GOP nominated a complete dud in Jim Renacci - my Republican friends in Columbus tell me there is zero enthusiasm for this candidate.

It’s a close race so far here in Fla between Nelson and Scott.

I wish and hope that Bob Casey, Jr. (Dim-PA) will soon be added to that list.

why not wait to whine until after primary? that still gives you a few months to spread the misery. In the mean time do things to help someone else win the primary.

65 and 12- GOP picks up 65 House seats and 12 Senate seats. How? 10 Dem Senators are from Trump States, plus Tim "Guggenheim" Kaine in Virginia and Amy Klochubar in Minnesota. Even Fauxcahontas could be beat.

With the economy booming, peace breaking out on the Korean Peninsula, and the Democrats attempting to beat and murder their political opposition, I can see a Filibuster-proof Senate, massive majority in the House, and the Democrats reduced to futile rage after Trump decides to pack the court with 4 more Conservative justices (this will leave the SC with 11 Conservative Justices after Ruth Buzzi Ginsburg and The Wise Latina assume room temperature).

This will lead to the repeal of the 16th, 17th, 23rd, and 26th Amendments. We'll make it a national mission to kick out EVERY ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADER (we destroyed Naziism, the Imperial Japanese Empire, ground the USSR into the Dust, put a man on the moon, and invented the flask tie)

How hard could it be to deport 45 million illegal alien invaders?.

That's where all the money is. Not so much power, but POWER is what they have been able to BUY.

Trump showed us all otherwise (Twitter, Instagram, FB).

That was with the "new media".

The "new" new media will transform political messages like never before.

Ask yourself what effect having unchecked illegal immigration can have on the politics of a region.

Yeah Luke, let’s let Trump get impeached because you decide THIS is the election you decide to show how fed up you are. How about showing up at the primary and voting FOR someone. I agree McSayy has all the personality of a wet dishrag, but there is no way I am going to let that creepy Sinema represent me in Washington.

DUH!!!! The Republicans were going to gain seats in the Senate no matter what... the Dems could have a banner year, and the Republican Party was gaining seats in the Senate. Anyone with the most basic understanding of US politics can look at the Map of the Senate seats this cycle and tell you that.

Anyone, anyone, anyone who ever told you the Dems were going to gain seats in, let alone take control of the Senate is a flat out liar, or so incredibly ignorant they should probably be required to repeat elementary school.
