Levin: Never Seen a Campaign ‘as Aggressive, as Nasty, as Ruthless, and as Dishonest’ as Kavanaugh’s

Nationally syndicated radio talk show host, TV host, author and American lawyer Mark Levin (Screenshot) On his nationally syndicated radio talk show Monday, host Mark Levin expressed alarm at the forcefulness with which some had pushed for Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court

Below is a transcript of Mark Levin’s remarks on his show Monday:

“Then we get to Kavanaugh. I have never seen a campaign for a Supreme Court justice to be nominated as aggressive, as nasty, as ruthless, and as dishonest as the campaign behind Kavanaugh. That’s not to say he wouldn’t make a good justice, but there are questions.

“And should he be the nominee – because apparently, he’s the leading candidate, I don’t know firsthand – should he be the nominee, and he’s in front of that committee, we constitutional conservatives, that is, we constitutionalists, we want conservatives like Mike Lee and Ted Cruz to ask some questions to satisfy our concerns, particularly on Obamacare, particularly on abortion, particularly on immigration.

“I don’t need to hear his views on Chevron and the administrative state. We know they’re good. They’re very good. But I need to know if he’s a constitutionalist. All of them, all of them.”

He’s a good source, particularly in matters of the law, far more informed and knowledgeable than any other conservative talking head in syndication.

I would say misinformed, especially about the issues of trade, tariffs and taxation.

I don’t know. It seemed to me that there was a more aggressive campaign *against* Kavanaugh by supporters of other potential nominees than from his side.

How real is Axiox’s chart though? They are a left wing outfit who may very well be trying gum up the works for Kavanaugh by making him appear as a right wing extremist.

I can only ssy I agree with Levin on what point - not any “nastiness” in the promoting of Kavenaugh, but the push alone for Kavenaugh was massive and from every quarter including some not so Conservative. like Karl Rove, who we can surmise was speaking for the Bush Family and as they raised Kavenaugh up in his profession that did not surprise me. Yes, it was the most out-there P.R. campaign for Kavenaugh - a lot of political markers went down, a ton of calls were made, and an army or writers went to work - Kavenaugh, Kavenaugh, Kavenaugh. I have never seen anything like it before. It was in volume a lot more than for any SCOTUS candidate before him.

The collective mass of it all is suspicious and concerning. It was a “campaign”.

Let’s see what happens. If Judge K turns out to be another Scalia, nobody will be happier than I, except perhaps Mark Levin.

“Let’s see what happens. “

You and Levin can keep your doubts to yourself.

As for me, I knew what type of president Trump would be and he has been.

Ever notice that Levin ALWAYS has to caviat any positive story with a negative analysis.

If the man got invited to a beach party he would respond, “Ok, but sure hope it doesn’t rain.”

It’s absolutely depressing to listen to the man.

So now that they did not get their pet pick, we going to hear hysterics and endless whining from the Faux Conservatives Never Trumpers.

Past time for all these morons to sit down and shut up. YOU LOST the election, get over it.

Really? All I heard was the endless fan girl gushing about Newbie Barret because she was a woman. Did not see anyone pushing Kavaugh.

Serious butt hurt going on here with the Never Trumpers because one of their gods, Mike Lee, did not get picked.

Who knows?

I’ve seen this chart, and other articles by them, posted numerous times, here.

Here is a link to the actual study, by these guys, for this info....

http://epstein.wustl.edu/research/PossibleNominees.pdf

Again....I have no idea how left or right leaning any of them are.

Looks like the Mike Lee Rage Face came back to haunt them :-)

He’ll NEVER live that....or his absurd LIVE FakeBook stream, telling Trump to step aside, down.

I saw that. It looks like Meese was barely able to stand under his own power even with the help of a walker. Meese must be pushing 90 and didn’t look that healthy.

Levin is reliably wrong at least half the time.

Unfortunately nastiness is a survival skill in Washington, DC in 2018.

Anyone on the Left screaming about Kavanaugh is thus also screaming about Kagan.

Perhaps she should be impeached, then...    ROFL face

Those were and this one will be as well, but the next one if Buzzy or Breyer croak will make all the others look tame as a old ladies Sunday School class ice cream social. The left will truly go bonkers and I predict resort to violence. Obama, Hillary, Buzzy and Breyer made a strategic mistake by not getting these two replaced before obama left office. This was not a tactical but strategic blunder that could destroy 100 years of leftist policies.

If Trump appoints two or three more judges and they are all in the Gorsuch mold then he has taken the judiciary out of the hands of the democrats to make their leftist law. They will then have to actually change hearts and minds and win elections to make their hair brain laws. SCOTUS will not have their backs any longer, let the wailing begin!

He explained his reasons, which had nothing to do with Mike Lee or any other nominee.
