Tomi Lahren: Conservatives Who Go After Roe “Might as Well Spit on the Constitution”

Tomi Lahren began her appearance on Fox and Friends this morning by saying she wanted to “clarify” her statements in which she argued against overturning Roe v. Wade. Instead, Lahren doubled down, adding fuel to the fire by saying that conservatives who want to go after Roe “might as well spit on the Constitution.” Said Lahren:

“My problem is with some of my fellow conservatives who have put it out there that we are, quote: “coming for Roe v. Wade. That is a mistake, because we are putting it out there and implying that we are sending a justice to the bench to carry out religious judicial activism which is a mistake and it’s unconstitutional. And if we as conservatives are going to imply that, if that’s going to be our messaging, we might as well spit on the Constitution.”

Social controversies should be solved by people and their elected representatives, not imposed on society by judicial fiat.

Liberal social policy makes for bad law and has unintended consequences.

Tell that to the Founding Fathers. It's the rights of the people to dictate how they are governed for the common welfare...

This may not be the US Constitution but it is the DoI that was the groundwork for the Constitution...

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

That, to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."

"...That, whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

This implies that the people, regardless of the religious or philosophical beliefs, have the right to create laws that they deem necessary to secure "domestic tranquility" and "promote the general welfare".

abortion would be performed only as a last resort, in dire situations....to save the life of the mother (SOURCE: Ntl

Now its adherents say it's a "constitutional right." Next on the P/P agenda? Forced abortions?

It is likely that she has had an abortion(s) and has shame and guilt over it (as most women who have aborted their babies do).

She MUST defend her crime(s) to the bitter end or until Jesus changes her life.

I am surprised that Tomi Lahren apparently is not aware of the Constitutional issues with Roe.

She comes across like she does not know what she is talking about.

It has begun to leak out that some young women patronizing these "PP health clinics" for abortions have also been "weinsteined"......sexually abused by abortionists. These places are hotbeds for potential sexual abuse. The lowlife abortionist has already sold out his conscience. So having power over young vulnerable women creates an ideal climate for sexual abuse.

Arguably the most famous case is Dr. Brian Finkle, who had over 100 complaints. He was extremely aggressive, threatening pro-lifers and making bizarre statements. After he went to prison for a 35 year sentence in 2001 for abusing women he quickly got on a prison dating website with the nickname "Road Kill". Don't know if he's still on there.

There are other abortionists with multiple complaints as well.

Here's more evidence that this Tomi chick just gets air-time because she thought to be eye-candy. . .I mean, what is she, 25? 26?. . .she has no life experience except for being a fast-talker . . she should go sell cars or pharmaceuticals.

BTW, the Constitution is not affirming a pro-life belief that the fetus is a child. The Constitution affirms the inalienable rights of the individual. The issue is that NO ONE. .not pro-lifers or pro-abortion . . .NO ONE. ..knows when, in fact, human life begins. Both sides have only beliefs about whether the fetus is fully human or not. The right Constitutional path is, given that no one knows the moment when life begins and because pursuing life as one of our endowed rights is, therefore, evidence that life is precious. ..it is in the interest of society and thus the Constitution to err on the side of protecting life in ALL its known phases, i.e. from conception to birth.

Bottomline: Tomi is a ignorant big mouth ass!!

Choice should happen before conception. After conception it is a responsibility.

I still wonder how taxpayer dollars got wrapped up in the all this crap.

Even Darth Vader Ginsburg called Roe bad law. It should be a decision at the state level according to the Constitution, although no good state would give sanction to human sacrifice.

One day the Constitution is a living breathing document; the next day stare decisis is the rule. Is it like even/odd gas rationing in the 70s?

Libs don’t have principles, only tactics. One of those tactics is to claim to be operating under a principle now and then. One popular trick used by the libs is to scream ‘judicial activism’ whenever their ox is gored.

Roe vs. Wade is about two things. Avoiding responsibility for your own actions AND forcing OTHERS to pay for it.

It never was about rape because the woman in the case wasn’t raped to begin with. It was about forcing US to pay for her lack of responsibility and poor choices.
