Tomi Lahren says conservatives who overtly go after Roe “might as well spit on the Constitution.”

Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.

I’m sure she was saying the same thing when the Court overturned the “settled law” of Bowers v. Hardwick (1986) that stated that states can outlaw sodomy.

WHY oh why is sending a pro-life judge to the SCOTUS considered to be “religious judicial activism”. It’s stretching things a bit too much... Tomi. And how is this appointment UNCONSTITUTIONAL?!!! Duh!?? I can be an atheist and be pro-life! I simply believe that at conception, a new human being is born... unique in every way...(test the DNA). Therefore I respect and protect that human life through a pro-life agenda. WTH does that have to do with my faith (other than MY faith reinforces my belief).

The hysteria over losing the “right” to kill babies if the Court is packed with Constitutionalist judges tells me that the left is fully aware that abortion is not Constitutional. If they were confidant that it is a Constitutional right, they would not bother mentioning it.

She’s a babe and following the rules here, I vote Tomi NOT GUILTY!!!

That said, I thought she made.a thoughtful case for upholding the Constitution without imposing a religious test upon it.

Judges aren’t supposed to make policy or write their own views into the law but to interpret and uphold it as written.

We got Roe because of liberal judicial activism and its time to put a stop to it.

To be perfectly consistent, the liberals would have to say that the Constitution doesn’t guarantee a right to life. That, I think, is where they’re already coming from, although they don’t dare say it.

lahern is woefully ignorant of the Constitution.

She started out good with OANN but has gone downhill ever since her firing.

I am glad the liberals are so consistent in their defense of the Constitution. I hear them applying the same argument when 2nd Amendment cases appear before the Court. / s

As she stated it, she is absolutely correct. “That is a mistake, because we are putting it out there and implying that we are sending a justice to the bench to carry out religious judicial activism which is a mistake and it’s unconstitutional.”

Using a religious standard as a basis to make law is unConstitutional. It’s commonly called separation of Church and State. That’s what she’s saying, and she is correct. What would have clarified her position would have been if she had added, “If Republicans were to say they are going to return such court decisions back to the states where they belong, THAT would be Constitutional because it is an action based on the Constitution, not an activist SCOTUS decision.

It would appear that Tomi is a good bit smarter than most of the people jerking their knees.

I think we’re watching a movie, this pick is just like the person he’s replacing and everyone knows it.

The balance of the court has not changed one bit.
