In the article they are discussing the green movement in Germany. These movements would never amount to anything if they did not have the full backing of the media. Why does the media and all the Western countries keep pushing for agendas which are not in the best interest of their country or their citizens. If I try to start a movement it would die in the Cradle because I would never get any coverage. But all these Lefty movements always get full coverage it’s very weird.
There seems little sense in spending billion$ and risking tens of thousands of American servicemen’s lives to defend a country who has effectively unilaterally surrendered to the Russians. Germany is one cold spell and a push of the button from complete capitulation. Short of a Berlin LPG Lift on a mega-scale - something we do not have the capacity to accomplish - Germany is at the mercy (ha!) of Putin.
Trump must enable a southern route pipeline from the Middle East to Europe.

Russian is destabilizing Iran, Syria, Iraq, and Turkey, for one reason: so they can dominate European gas supply.

Russia is a threat to USA as much as any other nuke-armed nation. Let Europe deal with them head-on.
I guess rank stupidity and the inability to ascertain consequences is not limited to USA democrats. German folk are usually thorough to a fault but somehow Germany decided to abandon energy independence and subjugate their energy needs to France and Russia.
