get rid of that Robin’s egg color I don't know. After more than half a century, that color, and the whole design, have now become an iconic American symbol.
Like the White House, it doesn't belong to its temporary occupant. It belongs to the people.

I like the blue with the white stars sans the eagle head. A picture of an eagle flying can be put on the tail. The nose can be red.
Or the entire plane can have an American flag paint job from nose to tail.

Objectively, it sends a weak message, and the US has been on a losing streak ever since. The country needs something less pacifist. Truman had a bald eagle painted on the nose of his plane. Eisenhower went with a plain plane in air force markings with a presidential seal added near the door.
