The problem isn’t so much our that people may have helped abscond with their money but where they then directed it. In the past American operatives have supposedly stolen large amounts from rivals BUT it was said to have been used to further national interests rather than enrich liberal politicians through their “foundations”.
Essentially Putin is waving a carrot in front of Trump: the epherimal promise of locking her up with Russian help but the cost is maybe revealing our methodologies.
Never mind the price of the Democrats continued rhetoric.
Trump should pass on that aspect.

And that may actually be what Putin intended. The chaos it could cause among the Democrats (who are ChiCom / Muslim Brotherhood friendly) and potential damage to those with the skills to steal that much likely serve his interest on two fronts and he doesn’t have to give up anything of value for it.

Trump is not stupid enough to throw Obama era officials in jail and make them into instant martyrs.
Trump has too much respect for the constitution to abuse his executive powers, as Obama did, by weaponizing his law enforcement agencies in an effort to bring criminal charges against his political enemies.
Trump knows that the Left must be defeated in the voting booth and in the court of public opinion. He long ago instructed his team to “stand down” with regards to prosecuting the crimes of Obama era officials. That includes Jeff Sessions, who is doing exactly what Trump wants him to do.

Fine. But I predict the midterms will come and go, and still no Obama minions indicted. Then what will the excuse be?

Trump intends to drain the swamp not through criminal indictments, but rather through attrition, disruption and retooling of his agencies for MAGA.
What many people don’t realize is that the second Trump got elected POTUS, the drain plug got pulled, the swamp began to drain and it’s been draining steadily ever since. Without Clinton as POTUS, the highest level deep state players immediately lost their cover and went into defensive mode. Up and down the deep state food chain the cockroaches scurried for dark places to hide and were no longer safe to carry out the deep state agendas.
True, they are not in jail and many still have their jobs, but their ability to serve the deep state with impunity was severely limited the second Trump took office. Many bought-and-paid-for congressmen are unable to deliver on their end of the crooked deal - because Felonia Von Pantsuit is not in the Oval Office to sign it into law. For this reason, many crooked lobbyists have folded up their tents and gone home. The whole trillion $ pay-for-play industry and the flow of crooked influence peddling money has been disrupted and constipated. The well-oiled corruption machine known as Washington DC came to a screeching halt 11/9/2016 and swamp life has not been the same ever since. The swamp may not be drained, but the swamp dwellers are very confused, and very unhappy - and that is a very good thing.
