What a lunatic. I give Clinton and Obama credit for being able to have an army of lunatics who will spend the rest of their days defending them and covering their crimes.

They sent huge amount of money 400 million as a contribution to the campaign of Hillary Clinton.

And how does Putin know this?

He has the emails!

Sorry but by not prosecuting treasonous acts the constitution IS being damaged and the American people know better. Trump was elected largely because the constitution was being destroyed from within. Having a two tiered justice system is a byproduct of that. I think Trump is stuck with Sessions for now but I’ll stick with my prediction that he is gone within the next 6-9 months.

I have too many friends who own goats to wish those creatures ill. Besides I use goat milk when I make soap.

“I think Trump is stuck with Sessions for now but I’ll stick with my prediction that he is gone within the next 6-9 months.”

If Sessions leaves within the next 6-9 months, that alone won’t prove anything - it’s quite normal for department heads to come and go.

However, if Sessions leaves AND the new AG promptly cleans house and indicts a series of high level Obama era officials - assuming those indictments “stick” and lead to successful prosecutions and jail time -

Then and only then can it be argued that Sessions was indeed the culprit.

If Sessions leaves in nine months and is replaced by another AG who chooses not to indict HRC and other Obama minions, then you’ll have to admit the possibility that I’m right - it’s been Trump who called the shots all along and he’s not interested in trying to lock up his political foes.

Brennan is indeed worried. He’s a tool of evil and as part of the swamp, he will hopefully do jail time.

Honestly I don’t care about being ‘right’. I simply care about prosecuting treasonous felons! If we can’t prosecute those that are purposely destroying the constitution then what is the point? Sessions can either keep doing nothing in the guise of not going after political opponents or he can choose to prosecute traitors? It’s a simple choice. Trump was elected to drain the swamp and protecting the constitution is key to the endeavor.

“Honestly I don’t care about being ‘right’.”

Well that’s fortunate, because you’re not.

“No need to be an asshole. I’m simply offering an opinion.”

After so many months of relentlessly insisting on your blame-Sessions narrative - and your smug contempt for any who would disagree - it’s a complete cop out to claim now that you “don’t care about being “right”.

Sure.

You are misrepresenting my point. I’m simply tired of the Attorney General of the United States not protecting the US Constitution by refusing to go after those that have attempted to overthrown a duly elected president. Period!

“facilitate”? Brennan...he got his cut...and made sure everybody else in DC got theirs so a “truly bipartisan” DC crowd wouldn’t get as uppity about impeaching Hillary as they did her husband

The problem isn’t so much our that people may have helped abscond with their money but where they then directed it. In the past American operatives have supposedly stolen large amounts from rivals BUT it was said to have been used to further national interests rather than enrich liberal politicians through their “foundations”.

We're talking about the CIA, right?

“You are misrepresenting my point. I’m simply tired of the Attorney General of the United States not protecting the US Constitution by refusing to go after those that have attempted to overthrown a duly elected president. Period.”

Just to clarify, what specifically would a replacement AG need to accomplish in say the first six months for you to be satisfied that he was protecting the Constitution? You said “by going after those that have attempted to overthrow a duly elected President.” So, who would have to be on that list, and what would have to happen to them for you to consider the AG was doing his job”

I guess I’m looking for a specific benchmark by which you would measure a replacement AG, because this may actually happen.

Let’s say your list of those who attempted the coup includes Strozk, Page, McCabe, Comey, Clinton, Rice, Lynch, Holder, Rosenstein, Mueller, Brenner, maybe even Obama himself. Let’s say you’d be satisfied with at least half of them being indicted and any currently employed being fired. Would indictments be enough or would a significant number have to serve time?

The reason I ask for specific benchmark is that I suspect it’s not Sessions’ recusal that has kept this from happening but rather that Trump himself doesn’t intend to pursue criminal charges.

I suspect Sessions won’t be AG forever - department heads come and go. So when Trump has an opportunity to appoint a new AG, I expect it will be more of the same - I’d like to know what you expect from the new AG, specifically.

You’re right that it’s not important who was right or wrong, but this debate has been raging for the best part of a year here on FR, and when it’s all said and done I’d like to learn from the experience.

A lot of people seem to believe that all sorts of high level people would be in jail by now if it wasn’t for Jeff Sessions’ recusals and refusals. I’d like to hear specifics so that if we ever do get a different AG, I know what your expectations are.
